i can see south florida has been the doormat but they have beaten teams that beat a team that was ranked up there auburn

Dont mean to piss anyone off but if anyone believes the south florida is the 2nd best team in the country their drunk. I like the fact that a team that started play in the late 90's are rated that high but there at least 8-10 teams that are better. The wv victory at home was nice but pat white got hurt and its always good to get a little home cooking against wv. Goodluck to them regardless

As an alumni of South Fla - I am biased - but to be honest the members in this thread have pointed out why South Fla is so highly ranked. They are the Boise State of last year so far and

Why are they a fraud? They have been winning convincingly in all their games. I do realize they have played incredibly weak talent, but they have gotten it done, and quite impressively at that. That defense is pretty good. They do have questions at offense but they are clicking right now. Still think the Big 10 is too slow and they will be exposed when they go out of conference, but I disagree with your comment of being a fraud. Who would you put at number one? USF? BC?

that is fine, jc...however, the system will not allow that currently with a loss...so by default osu is number one and i have to agree with that assessment based upon preseason rankings....do i believe in them...hell no...but i think your discredit of osu immediately is a little jumping the gun....do i believe osu will falter, hell yes...but until they lose, they have a right to be in number one...by default of course, because everyone lost ahead of them...

and just for the record, i hate the big 10...they play old school ball in a new world order...they are slow and play calling is weak...i believe the big 10 will always get outplayed and outcoached when they leave the conference...times change, fellas, get with the program...

KJ, its my opinion. Nothing more, nothing less. If someone starts a thread, opinions will follow. With the BCS being what it is, yes they are # 1. Do they deserve it? That is up for debate.

This is why we love college football, we all have our conference affilitations, and mine is not with the SLOW 10

I think Vegas should set the rankings, based upon each team playing the other on a neutral field. That to me, would be a true measure of the teams
