    Tomorrow taking:

    Taking Nashville/Dallas Under 5

Really think this matchup is a dog fight.
Turco should turn in a good performance- He had the last game off and should feel refreshed and has a good record against Nashville. Leclaire for Nashville rarely turns in back to back bad outings!

    More info>
Regular starter Marty Turco is expected to be back in net for the Stars. Turco is 2-1-1 with a 2.23 goals-against average in four starts this season, and has dominated Columbus (2-2-0) throughout his career. He's 10-1-1 with a 1.90 goals-against average in 12 career games - including two shutouts - against the Blue Jackets.

Turco's strong play has helped Dallas to an impressive history against Columbus. Since the Columbus franchise began play in 2000, the Stars have gone 18-3-3 against the Blue Jackets, including 8-2-2 at Nationwide Arena.

Last season, however, the Blue Jackets went 3-1-0 against the Stars to win a season series against them for the first time.

Columbus has a good chance of building on last season's success if it can continue its strong play at home. The Blue Jackets have outscored their opponents 7-0 to win their first two home games of the season, and can match their best home start in franchise history with a victory Wednesday.

Columbus, though, didn't have much success on the road on Saturday, when they lost 5-1 at Colorado. Goalie Pascal Leclaire opened the season with the back-to-back home shutouts, but gave up five goals to the Avalanche.

Leclaire has allowed five or more goals six times in his four-year career, including once in his only start against Dallas - a 5-3 defeat on Dec. 21, 2005
Spear I am confused at what the pick is...

    You have Nashville/Dallas under....

Dallas plays in Columbus tonight not vs Nashville....

Nashville plays in Anaheim not vs. Dallas....

Also, the Stars could still be without starting goalie Marty Turco tonight because of his sore leg. With Turco ailing and backup Mike Smith on the IR, Dallas will be forced to use third-stringer Tobias Stephan. Stephan made his NHL debut in a 2-1 overtime loss to the Blackhawks on Sunday.

No because Nashville is +170...you wouldnt need to parlay that...to be honest I think he is taking DAL/COL under 5.0....but I am not sure....

        • Sorry out at the beaches amidst Gator Boosters for the game with Kentucky Saturday! Learned that we will need to stay our ground- not fall into trying to make a big play against Woodson!

          Dallas Under 5 --------------------PUSH

          POD 3-3-1 (Opinions 1-0)

Sorry about the Nashville thing- I placed Dallas under and then without looking decided to throw the opposing team in and in my haste- tossed out Nashville instead of Columbus.

One thing has become apparent- under 5is a tough number to hit.

            Philly/NJ Under 5.5

At home Philly is only giving up .50 goals so far. Should be a very tough match as Philly wants to prove they are ready to not be NJ's bitch this season as they have been. So I like the under here!

            --Concerning Philly--~
"We are tired of taking it up the ass with these guys" "No more! We are keeping our pants on all game long!!!" said an avid anonymous dude in the stands!

Philadelphia will try to avoid a third straight loss to New Jersey, which was 7-0-1 in last season's series. The Devils are 10-0-1 against the Flyers since a 2-1 regulation loss on March 21, 2006

"We want to be the best team in the league," said Flyers goaltender Martin Biron, who made 31 saves Tuesday for his first shutout since being acquired from Buffalo in February. "We want to show we've really made the effort to work at it. It all matters now.'

Biron has started every game this season, posting a 1.81 goals-against average, and most likely will be back in net. Backup Antero Niitymaki was 0-2-3 with a 3.27 GAA versus the Devils last season.

            --Concerning NJ--~
"(High-scoring games) don't happen too often with us,' said three-time Vezina Trophy winning goaltender Martin Brodeur, who made 26 saves Wednesday in just his second win this season. "That's two in a row we have gone through. It's just the way it is right now. We're getting two points, so we'll take it.'

Brodeur, the all-time wins leader among goaltenders who needs four more for 500, is 17-12-3 with a tie and 2.62 GAA over 33 career starts in Philadelphia.
