totally agree there.......I am not sure why he was ever fired....Someone said he was a poor recruiter and that being said then Charlie Weis either overachieved with Ty's talent (2 BCS Bowls in 2 yrs) or Ty had more talent than was let on (Mel Kiper says ND had no talent and the lack of draftees bears that out)....That being said and giving Weis the benefit of the dount and overachieving with inferior talent bears the question....

Washingtons QB was a Black athlete. Nothing said about that. Macnabb has 1 TD in 22 drives. Black or not you have to be in with the management to even be playing the next game - which McNabb is!
Charles barkley said it best- -- its time to change your QB if they are booing in the first Qtr. He (Barkley) went on to say how he should have left 2 years sooner to avoid the boos.

No truer words have ever been said......The position brings more scrutiny than any other.....However, it cuts both ways too. It also brings the most accolades....

Also certain markets are tougher than others......Philly-tough, NYG-ask Eli how tough and Pennington who was cheered when he was hurt....others are more forgiving....

I believe Atlanta was very supportive of Mike Vick. He represented the local community and he was looked up to and given more rope than any other Qb with similar stats.....

did anyone else notice him franticly trying to get off a play before the 2 minute warning in the 4th Q. you are inside the 15, 4 down territory, a time out left. why does he need to hurry and get the play off, only to throw an incomplete pass. NO GAME AWARENESS!

I noticed it. If he would have scored on that play he would have just given Washington a full 2 minutes to come back and score. He hurried and a wasted a play.

I like Mcnabb but he cant run anymore and its kills his game. Just because you have a bad game dont come at the press with all this other bullshit---just say you had a bad game.

I fully understand living here in the South- that prejudism still exists. I also believe reverse prejudism exists and wants to be sung at any portal of our society that can bring on self-preservation or news. (Reminds me of this idiot at the Kerry Talks in Gainesville- he was noted to pull this camera stunt before)
It seems easier for McNabb to sing racial tribulations than accept his losing role as a QB in the NFL. Maybe Leftwich could have said that Jacksonville never embraced him fully becuz he is black. Only he could't becuz so are the next two strings of QB.

See- Rocko- You have confused the whole premise of why a white man gets the ass becuz he is not elevated above a black person. You want answers to a question that has no real answer- was he less qualified than the other two folks and therefore should not get the position.

The prejudism is our culture is that it is not about black and white anymore- many folks are looking into the rearview mirror and haven't waken up yet- not realizing that spanish speaking natives are now a larger part of the US. Chinese, Japanese, Korean, English, Irish, German, Russian, Baltic States, French, Swiss, etc. are flowing in as well.

Rocko- Have you seen the Penn State class on Black- White relations. It stated some whites have about 14% of the african juice in them- They have 500 people a semester taking this class and must have a test done on there blood before taking the class.
Also revealed a large segment of Italians with the blood from the Black population.
Of course many blacks have white blood as well. Possibly more of us are mutts than we realize. Just the way it is! Times depicted who we were in the company of and our hormones didn't stop at the color of the individual we were laying the wood to.
