    • Michigan better score 30 plus a game because they are going to be letting up a TON of points.

They must be a preseason Top 5 for good reason.

You never know TV......they say the newer guys on defense are much more athletic then the guys they are replacing.....if they pick up the schemes quickly and have a knack for makin plays you never know.......also that defense last year wasn't as good as they were hyped to be anyways

          PEACE

They will probably finish in the top 10 but I don't think they can be in the top 5 with that offense.

I think they will be great on offense but that defense makes me think they will come up short.

I totally agree pimp. I was not thrilled with that defense last year. The Ohio St game made me ill. I'm actually looking forward to a new look defense this year!

Pimp, I agree 100% about last year's team.

If they can get a decent defense this year then they could be primed for a HUGE year.

I just don't think the defense will be any good.

Playing in a weak Big 10 helps them though. Plus that offense will be insane.

I just think the D will cost them a big game or 2.

                Best of luck though.

                Tony V.

Tony, ND & OSU are both expected to be a little down and both are in Michigan. They have 1 hurdle (imo) and that is Wisconsin. Beyond that, who will beat them. Seriously?

It has probably been about 20 years now. I didn't actually get to go to the Dome until about 8 years ago. I took lots of pictures!

I was a fan growing up when Jordan, Perkins and Worthy were there and then my friend moved down there. That's when i ended up going down and actually visiting Chapel Hill a couple of times. It was awesome. That's why i love UNC. In fact, i've never even been to Boston College once in my life, not once.

Michigan ... Most of my life i was a big CFB fan but of no specific team. I always (to be nice) disliked ND & Ohio St. I don't know why but both of those schools always irritated the hell out of me. On the other hand, i always liked Michigan and i loved watching games at the "Big House". I used to love AC and i always (especially when younger) loved the uniforms. Now ... about 8 years ago i met my fiance and i found out quickly that she liked sports alot and LOVED all Michigan sports. She actually went to a Michigan/Ohio St game in the Horseshoe about 10 years ago. She wore Michigan gear and said it was a rough day. lol She bought the tickets when she knew she was going to be out there with friends one time. She had her Michigan hat, football and all other gear when she moved in. It was hilarious. One of the 1st things we joked about was Chris Webber calling a T.O. in the Championship game against you guessed it ... UNC, a year or two before we met.. She hates when i bring that up. hahaha

I always liked the Wolverines football team and about 8-9 years ago i started cheering faithfully for them every week. I keep my love for UNC Hoops while she cheers for Michigan in foots and hoops but we do not miss a Michigan game on t.v. They are on every Saturday and we literally plan our day around it. One day, we want to go see a game at the "Big House"!

Also, the one major sport UMaine plays in on the top division level is College hockey. They have always been one of the best in the country. One of our biggest League RIVALS is Boston College. Everyone in the State follows UMaine hockey and nobody likes BC. That's just another example as to why College's in Boston do not rub off on people outside of Mass. like the Pro teams do. The pro teams all market here 1.5 hours away from Boston and include us in every celebration. The BC College games are not marketed up here and are rarely on t.v.

                    Now you get it?
Got it. Thanks for the explanation.

Wisconsin is your ticket to the BCS championship

you beat them, I just can't honestly see anyone beating you until the championship game.

That's what i'm thinking. I'm trying to be unbiased when i say Wisky is THE GAME!

I want them to do well but College's are a dime a dozen up here and each state has a ton of them. Most fans up here are followers of all Boston pro teams but when it comes to College, all we have here is UMaine so most guys cheer for all kinds of different College's. I have my reasons why i like UNC in Hoops and Michigan in foots. I have explained them both several times here.
How come you are not a Central CT State University fan???

                              If I had to guess.....

                              Oregon
                              Penn St
at Michigan St...this one is in strictly for being an in-state rival
                              at Wisconsin
                              Ohio St

I think they lose at least 2 of those.

Maybe, but i don't see Oregon or Penn St winning on the Road. Michigan St will be rebuilding and Ohio St is going to get a beaten in the big house with a young QB. They will win that one no doubt (imo).

                                Wisky is it (IMO)!
