I didnt commet on this the first time I saw it because I had no clue who Woodson was.
Well today in my SportsWeekly I read where they say this Woodson character is probably the best QB in the nation and will proably be the first QB drafted.
I believe he was the #3 overall senior, Brohm checked in at 7, Henne 8 and Booty was just outside the top 20.
I dont know what that means and I still havent seen Woodson play but they are saying this guy can skyrocket up draft boards kinda like Russell.
With that said I am assuming they will all be first round picks anwyays (Woodson, Brohm & Henne)
I am a Michigan grad and I think Michigan has a very solid team this year but I for one have never been enamored with Henne nor Mike Hart but I do love Manningham.
PEACE

That's 1/2 the problem ... most don't know who Woodson is.
If there was ever a year for Michigan, it is this year with Henne, Manningham and Hart back. I expect big years from all 3 if healthy. Hart needs to stay on the field. The schedule sets up perfectly with OSU @ home and Smith finally gone, along with N.D. @ home too. The one game between them and a undefeated season (IMO) is @ Wisconsin. PLEASE get by that game BIG BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!

I want them to do well but College's are a dime a dozen up here and each state has a ton of them. Most fans up here are followers of all Boston pro teams but when it comes to College, all we have here is UMaine so most guys cheer for all kinds of different College's. I have my reasons why i like UNC in Hoops and Michigan in foots. I have explained them both several times here.

Originally posted by longnexI guess I missed it when you explained it. Oh well, no biggie.
I was a fan growing up when Jordan, Perkins and Worthy were there and then my friend moved down there. That's when i ended up going down and actually visiting Chapel Hill a couple of times. It was awesome. That's why i love UNC. In fact, i've never even been to Boston College once in my life, not once.
Michigan ... Most of my life i was a big CFB fan but of no specific team. I always (to be nice) disliked ND & Ohio St. I don't know why but both of those schools always irritated the hell out of me. On the other hand, i always liked Michigan and i loved watching games at the "Big House". I used to love AC and i always (especially when younger) loved the uniforms. Now ... about 8 years ago i met my fiance and i found out quickly that she liked sports alot and LOVED all Michigan sports. She actually went to a Michigan/Ohio St game in the Horseshoe about 10 years ago. She wore Michigan gear and said it was a rough day. lol She bought the tickets when she knew she was going to be out there with friends one time. She had her Michigan hat, football and all other gear when she moved in. It was hilarious. One of the 1st things we joked about was Chris Webber calling a T.O. in the Championship game against you guessed it ... UNC, a year or two before we met.. She hates when i bring that up. hahaha
I always liked the Wolverines football team and about 8-9 years ago i started cheering faithfully for them every week. I keep my love for UNC Hoops while she cheers for Michigan in foots and hoops but we do not miss a Michigan game on t.v. They are on every Saturday and we literally plan our day around it. One day, we want to go see a game at the "Big House"!
Also, the one major sport UMaine plays in on the top division level is College hockey. They have always been one of the best in the country. One of our biggest League RIVALS is Boston College. Everyone in the State follows UMaine hockey and nobody likes BC. That's just another example as to why College's in Boston do not rub off on people outside of Mass. like the Pro teams do. The pro teams all market here 1.5 hours away from Boston and include us in every celebration. The BC College games are not marketed up here and are rarely on t.v.
Now you get it?
