  • I Won't Be Able To Post Parleys For Awhile

I mentioned yesterday that I can't post parleys anymore and a couple of guys wanted to know why. I posted the following after most of the games had gone yesterday but it was to late for most of them to see, so I'm posting it again, now, if anyone else is interested.

    Saturday the rectum hole said
and I echo Savage, Why ???????, can't you post parlays any more.....kapt

I have to get my right shoulder replaced for a second time Thursday. I had it done six years ago but it's worn out in a bunch of little pieces which hurts too much. At the same time, I also need surgery on my left elbow to move the nerve that goes down to my hand from whatever in my elbow is pressing on it. Right now the two little fingers and the top of my left hand are totally numb. Hopefully, I'll get some feeling back once they move whatever is pressing on the nerve. Typing has been a bitch because I can't feel the shift key and keep hitting the Control key, which screws everything up. I don't like the idea of not being able to use either arm for awhile because I hate being dependent on others. I'll be in the hospital for about 5 days, then I need to go to a nursing home for 4 to 5 weeks, for physical therapy and decent care I hope, until I can use my shoulder and move my elbow again. It would have been better to be banned from posting instead of this.

I didn't want to post anything on Sunday because my Sundays suck, so this seems like a good time to stop. I just played a Milwaukee/Cleveland parley for myself I have way too much to do anyway before Thursday. I'm hoping I'll be able to find a way to log in later on, before I get home, to see everyones winning football plays.

Edmonton had 1st and goal from the 2 yard line and settled for a field goal last night with 2 minutes left. If they got in they would have been up 36-31 and would have forced Calgary to get a TD instead of the game winning FG that lost the game by 2... Terrible loss....how can you not get in with 1st and goal from the fuckin 2 yard line....?!?!?!?!?

Anyway....BOL with the surgery and therapy and everything pal. I hope everything works out for you and cant wait to see you back here soon buddy!!!

What exactly are they doing to your shoulder? My mom had 4 or 5 surgeries on her shoulder and they removed most of the muscle in there. It filled up with a ton of scar tissue so now she can't raise her arm up and she has a lot of pain from it.

Monte. I had both my shoulders completly replaced 6 years ago because the main vein that carries blood to each shoulder was squeezed together from Predisone and the blood could not get to the shoulder. Without blood, the head and the socket just died and were as hard as a rock. That's why it was replaced.

Now with all the pressure on my right shoulder, the bone that has the fake head drilled into it is breaking up and pieces of bone and ligiments are touching nerves, which is pretty painful. All they do with my muscles is move them out of the way to get where the bones are. It sounds like your mother's shoulder is structally fine, the opposite of mine, but cutting soft tissue vs. bone, is where most of the scar tissue can come from. Don't know if this helps any, because I'm no expert and our shoulders are so different.

Why did they have you on predisone? And they couldn't do a blood vessel fusion to bring in some new blood to the area? Are the sockets made differently now? Dr. James I believe in Alabama the one who works with Athletes is a good Dr. to go see IMO. If they replace the socket again what's to keep it from breaking up again?
