True....I'm a big KG fan. No doubt he's a franchise player. But I think if I were him, I would have gone somewhere that has a chance to win it all. I don't think the Celts can get their in the next couple of years. Maybe, but I don't see it...

The West is brutal just trying to get to the Finals. KG can put up HUGE numbers in the East and once it comes down to a 7 game series in the Finals, who knows. Shaq and Wade did it when everyone was on Dallas. Maybe these 3 and a couple added pieces can too.

As soon as I heard the Garnett trade was close to happening, I went to play a future on Boston to win the East before the odds changed. Guess I was too late. They were already favored at 5-2.

Go Celtics!! I grew up watching them and have some relatives in Topsfield Mass...How could you not like them growing up in the 70's and 80's...they were the team!! Great NBA games in that era not like now or so it seems...

Its funny how one player can make Celtic fans think they are automatic contenders for a title Have you forgotten a few teams that you will have to get by just to make it to the finals?? Cleveland,Detroit,Chicago,Miami,New Jersey. And then when or IF you do make the finals there will be a few teams waiting for ya.. Phoenix,Spurs,Mavs. Maybe boston will make the playoffs but IMHO saying Boston is a automatic contender for even the Eastern Conference Title is a far stretch.. Not being a hater just being real..
