    • Duncan, Ginobli and Parker are only better than KG, Pierce and Allen, because they've played together longer and they've won titles together. There isn't 3 players on one team that are actually more talented than the Celtics 3.

        • You also would have trouble finding 3 better guys from a publicity standpoint off the court. All 3 of these guys have been great community guys and stand up citizens. I really think they will work well together and no one seems to have a me, me, attitude.

Do they not realize the caliber of player they are getting in KG?? We'll see how unhappy they are when Boston is one of the top 3 teams out of the East next year

Everyone wants to keep Jefferson but they don't realize that Minny has to get something good in return for KG. What do they expect?

I have a whole new respect for trades having to better the other team after this year in fantasy baseball

                          • people are against giving up al, but what i dont get is this-

no matter how good al becomes, he will never be as good as KG- plain and simple. kg is one of the 5 best pf's to ever play.

                            • Kevin Garnett is now officially a member of the Boston Celtics according to FoxSports.
According to Celtics spokesman Jeff Twiss, Garnett will likely be introduced at a news conference at 5:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday. Minnesota will reportedly send Garnett to Boston for Al Jefferson, Theo Ratliff and his expiring contract, Gerald Green, Ryan Gomes, Sebastian Telfair and a pair of 2009 first-round picks. The Celtics' draft pick will be top-three protected and the other pick will be the one Minnesota originally dealt to Boston in the trade that sent Ricky Davis to the T'Wolves for Wally Szczerbiak. Garnett will also sign a three-year extension with the Celtics and has two years left on his current deal. The Celtics, with a starting lineup of Rajon Rondo, Ray Allen, Paul Pierce, Garnett and Kendrick Perkins will now be a favorite to win the East.

                              • The one thing the Celtics shouldn't have traded IMO, is giving the T'Wolves back their draft pick, because it's gonna be horrible.
