Its only a bet afterall , and certainly not the 1st. or last that I will ever lose [ or anyone else who takes a shot ] . But as savage 1 said in essence , was we in order to excell need to learn [and remember] from such things . Homer you are about as good as it gets in this biz , a family man [ who cares ] and certainly no slouch when it comes to this rackett , then add a dash of being right more often than not and you have a recipe for success !

To kick ourselves in the butt in the natural order of progression that attaches itself with defeat , but my friend to learn from it is where most fail !

    We will not fail !

I also had a fairly poor night at the track and that usually saves me from my ineptitude in these areas [ that aside I did have a saving grace on my big home+1 bet ] and in baseball squeeked out a few bucks overall.

Again I say , lets gettem next time .

Medmphis-Do you agree with my basic tenet about streaks many times ending when you least expect them to as we saw in Oakland Balt. game last night?

To disagree with that would be a travesty of common sense , of course I do . And your leaning to taking something from it makes a ton of sense also .

Elliot Ness was waiting on us with his untouchables to boot .

Your logic looms large and maybe the " Partners in Crime " should lay low for a while .
