And I will be one of the lucky(unlucky-hopefully not) recipients of one of my passions-4 team baseball parlays.
Memphis and Homer-take those crystal balls to the carwash as I want them to clearly show who winners will be today with no fuzziness.

        My Two Picks

        Minnesota OVER 9 1/2

Twins have a rookie on the mound and look for him to pitch well in the first couple of inning after that. Anaheim will have seen him once and should be able to hit him. Also Ortiz for the Angels has been hittable all season long and don't see that changing in the dome today. Then in the late part on the game :D

The Bullpens will be in play and they have been worked hard for both teams the last week. I also see them being hittable in a big way.

Second pick in my option is a safe pick:D

        Oakland -185

Hudson has been on a roll for a while now. also has owned the Orioles over his career posting 7-0 record with 1.71 ERA. Put that with lopez. Also with a nine game lossing straight and coming off a 12th inning loss last night. With Baltimore using 5 pitchers from there bullpen. BIG advantage A's. I look for Hudson to pitch or at least close to a Complete game.

Good Luck to all..... These are my two Cents in the four way
        :D

            Straight to the point !

            K.C. @ Texas
            Gobble vs. Thomson

K.C. is starting to feel the pressure of a pennant race and while hitting .262 at a road clip , they put the bomb-man Gobble on the mound . He has been hit early and often lately , his 6.66 era coupled with lefties doing .333 & righties doing .342 + a .367 road BA against him looks like a blow-out here . Losing his last 3 & allowing 18 runs & 25 hits in 13 1/3 innings against a club that plays well at home .290 BA , and very loose we will take Texas at -158

            Cinn. @ Brewers
            Bale vs. Martinez

Need I point out that the Reds hit .244 as a roady and have lost 8 of thier last 10 and the kid won his only start and now face the dreaded " big-head syndrome " of M.L.B. The Brew-Crew counters with a kid also but Martinez sports some very good stats . 12-5 & 2.13 ERA in 27 starts { AA} then he goes 4-0 & 0.99 ERA in {AAA} so we will go with them at -116

            Also playing these :

            over 8.5 [ Reds/ Milw ]
            over 11 [ K.C. / Texas ]
            White-Sox
            Marlins
            Oakland
            Home + 1
            Under 137 total all teams

            G.L.

                      not counting chickens

yet and it is very early also .

But I have a large hunk of change on the Home + 1

                      so far so good - home 35 + 1 = 36 / aways = 24

                      keeping my fingers crossed !

                        Over Half of the games

                        are done and finished :

All 9 home teams won by 1 , 6 , 1 , 5 , 1 , 12 , 9 , 3 , 7 .... so far 69 + 1 = 70 for the homies / and 24 for the aways with 4 massive shutouts by the home teams. I guess my big one is safe tonight and shouldnt have much trouble the rest of the way . Need the Texas club to wake up tonight as it looks like its going to let me and Homer down in a big way !

                        Go Homer & Homies !

                        G.L.

                          Homer

I guess it wasnt to be .... looks like my Texas pick is going to let us down as well as those boys from Oakland , lets give it another try later [ page 2 ] and see if we can hit that elusive 4 teamer !

What a night for the home teams huh ? I hadem pegged for a winning night , but by no stretch of my feeble mind did I see this kinda night coming .

As we say at the end of a card and heading for the valet to leave the track " turn the page " [ program joke ]

My only comment on the Oakland game is this:
Oakland on a 10 game winning streak, Baltimore on a 9 game losing streak.
                            Hudson owns Balt., etc.
You would think this would be a cinch for Oakland. Not quite
From my longtime experience with gambling this is precisely the time when streaks end rather than one where Balt.has its best pitcher going against Oakland's worse, and say a pitcher on Oakland who has trouble with Balt.
In short one has to have a shell game mentality with gambling and pick the unobvious side especially when too many trends say team A should win in this situation(Oakland in this case) and too many trends say team B (Balt) should lose.
You might say this is hindsight but believe me if you yourselves go back and check on games like this over the years, you would be amazed at the number of times this type of thinking works.

Sorry to anyone that followed the A's game that just made me sick. All I can say is Sorry. I will work on this and change my picks in the future and try never to let this happen again.
