Man, I think just a list of current players who used before stricter testing would fill pages.

Two things that I always thought interesting:

        1) I would think relief pitchers and closers would be the biggest users and benefitors of steriods (i.e. Recoup time)

        2) How is Ken Griffey Jr just left out of the discussion. With his long list of muscle and bone injuries (sometimes a byproduct of steriod usage). After monsterous seasons of 96 - 2000, he has yet to play a full season due to injuries
        2012 - 2013 NCAAF

        21 - 20 - 0

        2012 - 2013 NFL

        14 - 10 - 1

No doubt the list of pitchers is huge and it's hard to gage, because they probably weren't lifting crazy weight. As far as Ken Griffey, the injuries point to steriod use, but his body shape has always remained pretty fragile.

Griffey is bigger then meets the eye. 6'3" 230. Move his workout from the Gabe Kapler model (single rep, high weight) to a leaner Hank Blaylock (many rep, light weight) and he fits the mold of a steroid users.

This is just throwing it out there. I just can't see how any person can be above suspicion at this point. Tremendous body change or not. Steroid or HGH or Amphedimines. I mean did anyone think "damn, Mota (mets reliever) is huge?", no but he used. Juan Rincon, another caught user I believer, and in no way a physical speciman.

Yes, there were the obvious guys, but we wouldn't have put Palmiero at the top looking at his stature.

What makes it tough is that at this point, you can't say anyone is clean without a certain measure of doubt.

To me Brett Boone was always the most obvious.

Did you read Jose's book? I believe every word of it. There's a hilarious part about Bret Boone.

I read it. I believe it for the most part, I just think he is a little off when he says that 80% were juicing. The Boone part is funny "shh, don't tell anyone"

Living in the Baltimore area and being an Orioles fan, i would definatley say Brady took them( 50 hr in 1 year, c'mon). Tejada is or was a user as well, his hr power has diminished significantly. Jay Gibbons is another one.

Todd Hundley and Lenny Dykstra both got huge and started hitting a lot of HR's. it was obvious even back then. didn't Huntley set some kind of HR record for a catcher?
