I'm a Rangers fan, and decided to stay away from this game. I've done real well going against the Rangers this year, this one just seems too obvious.

Just wanted to throw my 2 cents in for people who didn't do research and just following because the whole board is on it. GL to all who played it.
I just got in but i'll say that any pitcher who is constantly IN JAMS, is not a pitcher i want to wager on. You can't play with fire w/out getting burned. That goes for a Rangers win or loss today. Their pitching staff is just horrible!

I understand what everyone is saying...I follow sabermetrics as much as anyone, and like I said, I stayed away from this game-the only reason I said something was because everyone was on it - including all the cappers I look at.

The Rangers have a really good pen, and all Padilla needed was to go 5...I'm not saying he's good, but he once again proved that he gets out of jams in Arlington. All I'm saying is that when you see Lilly vs. Padilla, you should think - well 1 guy blows the other can pitch - GAME OF THE DAY! and that's not the case with Lilly on the Road and Padilla at home.

Look...for everyone with money on it, I'm rooting you...but as evidenced by this game, it was hardly an easy one to cap.

And this Rangers lineup is a freaking joke. If someone would've told me this would be our lineup in April, I would've punched them in the teeth.

Everything i write a "W" next to in my notebook is considered by myself as a game i nailed whether the score is 10-1 or 1-0. When i write a "L" ... that means i just misread the whole game when capping it and that also goes for a 1-0 or 10-1 score. The way every team gets to the final score is only the storyline.

Well said I guess...especially from you...I know how many people just go blind all in whenever you call a game...

Rangers just won...i'm not a douche who was rooting against people...and I hate when people try to make others' pics look bad...I just thought I had something to contribute as someone who's watched the rangers everyday. Especially with an incredibly un-clutch team like the Cubs.

If those were your feelings you need to learn how to trust your own advice and play the Rangers next time.

I'm dumb, but I ain't stupid. You have to be stupid to bet on the Rangers. And they're my favorite team.

eric, even the worst teams in baseball win 4 out of every 10 games. Excluding all those teams can lead to many a lost oppurtunity.

i for one dont see anything wrong with what he posted.Trust me i know alot of these lurkers will jump on a pick because someone is on it.And a pitcher that gets out of jams i understand what he is saying.Greg Maddux one of the all time greats is always in jams but like padila gets alot of ground ball outs.So the getting out of jams i think just means alot of runners get on just he gets out of trouble.Maddux has been doing it for 24 yrs.

Oh, I know...I bet dogs more than anything else in baseball. Betting favorites is why people hate betting bases...betting sports is a hard game when you are constantly betting -130 to -160 games.

You just have to know me. A Rangers loss is enough to make me put a fist through my wall. I don't need to lose coin on it. That's why I don't mind betting against them...if they win, I don't care about losing money as much...it's an emotional hedge.
