i for one dont see anything wrong with what he posted.Trust me i know alot of these lurkers will jump on a pick because someone is on it.And a pitcher that gets out of jams i understand what he is saying.Greg Maddux one of the all time greats is always in jams but like padila gets alot of ground ball outs.So the getting out of jams i think just means alot of runners get on just he gets out of trouble.Maddux has been doing it for 24 yrs.

Thanks Tech...that's all I was doing. I used to be a guy who would jump on a consensus pick in a heart beat. This was just a game that I wanted those lurkers to think about independently. I know no one should use guys like wayne etc on blind faith...but the bottom line is it happens (it's easy cause they obviously know their shit). This game didn't look like a slam dunk for me...and I just wanted to voice my 2 cents.

That should be the end of this thread...I really don't like posting unless it's a game I really love, or a funny story.

Nobody said he did anything wrong by posting. Derek Lowe is also a ground ball pitcher. I think all people were disputing is that he ISN'T a greg maddux and his Era in June alone was over 7 and horrible as a whole on the year. That, is what people were pointing out and rightfully so. I'm saying why point it out and then say "But i'm not touching Texas"? I say if you have those feelings, play it!

In my experiences....When everyone is on a game...it's normally not a good thing. JMO
