      Boston Red Sox at Atlanta Braves (ESPN | 7:05 PM ET)
      After coming within one out of his first career no-hitter in a win at Oakland on June 7, Boston's Curt Schilling was tagged for six runs and nine hits in five innings of a 12-2 loss to Colorado on Wednesday. SLIGHT EDGE: BRAVES
      In eight starts in Atlanta since 1999, the 40-year-old right-hander is 6-1 with a 1.98 ERA and two complete games. He has been pitching well on the road this season, going 4-1 with a 2.52 ERA in his last five starts away from Fenway Park. EDGE: RED SOX
      Boston won two of three over the Braves at Fenway Park May 19-20 and has won six of the last seven meetings between the teams. The Red Sox are 8-4 in interleague game this season, while Atlanta is just 3-6 against the AL. EDGE: RED SOX
      Atlanta's Chuck James is 2-1 with a 4.42 ERA in three career interleague starts. SLIGHT EDGE: BRAVES

      Minnesota Twins at New York Mets (7:10 PM ET)
      Minnesota has won nine of its last 12 interleague road games. Twins manager Ron Gardenhire said that playing without a designated hitter against the Mets will not be a problem. EDGE: TWINS
      The Twins rank 12th in the American League with just 54 homers and 10th win 311 runs. EDGE: UNDER
      New York lost its fifth straight series this weekend, dropping two of three to their crosstown rivals, the New York Yankees. The Mets have lost 11 of their last 13 games. EDGE: TWINS
      Mets right-hander John Maine is 1-4 with a 4.72 ERA in his last six starts. EDGE: TWINS
      Twins starter Carlos Silva has never received a decision in 15 career relief appearances agaisnt the Mets, but he owns a gaudy 10.22 ERA against them. BIG EDGE: METS

      Houston Astros at Los Angeles Angels (10:05 PM ET)
      The AL West-leading Angels are a major league-best 27-10 since May 9 and have won 11 of their last 12 series. EDGE: ANGELS
      Los Angeles is a major league-best 24-9 at home, winning 12 of its last 15 there. The Astros, meanwhile, are an NL-worst 13-21 on the road, losing 12 of their last 15 away from Minute Maid Park. BIG EDGE: ANGELS
      Angels right-hander John Lackey is 4-1 with a 1.82 ERA in nine games against the NL since the start of the 2005 season. EDGE: ANGELS
      The Astros defeated Seattle 10-3 on Sunday and outscored the Mariners 24-8 over the weekend to sweep their first three-game series of the season. EDGE: ASTROS
