    San Diego at Seattle
Justin Germano appears to be making the most of his opportunity in the San Diego rotation as he has posted a 1-0 record and 0.69 ERA in his two starts since filling in for the injured Clay Hensley. In his last start against the Cardinals, Germano allowed only three singles in seven innings of a 3-0 win. He'll go up against Seattle ace Felix Hernandez, who is still trying to work his way back from a forearm strain that put him on the disabled list. Hernandez looked rusty in his first outing back as he gave up three runs, seven hits and three walks in just 3 2/3 innings against the Angels on Tuesday. The Padres look like a good underdog pick (+159) to take the rubber game of this series according to Dunkel, which has San Diego favored straight up by 1. Dunkel Pick: San Diego (+159). Here are all of today's games.

      Sunday, May 20

Toronto Blue Jays at Philadelphia Phillies: (-138, 9)

Toronto rookie callup Jessie Litsch had the element of surprise on his side last Tuesday when the unknown right-hander allowed only one run on four hits during his eight and 2/3 inning debut against the Baltimore Orioles.

However in interleague play, everyone has the element of surprise. That includes Phillies starter Adam Eaton, who has never faced the Blue Jays.

Eaton is coming off two solid starts, most recently his one run, two hit performance against the Milwaukee Brewers last week. The righty credits his changeup, which wasn’t working for him earlier in the season.

"The mechanics that we changed earlier in the season are really starting to take hold," Eaton told MLB.com. "I'm working down [in the zone] a lot better than I was."

      Pick: Phillies -136

Chicago White Sox at Chicago Cubs: (-141, N/A)

The Cubs have already won the Windy City series but are looking to throw the knockout punch this Sunday, sending improving ace Carlos Zambrano to the mound.

The 6-foot-5 righty is starting to find his form after struggling during April and has won three of his last four starts. Zambrano’s best showing was last Tuesday’s eight inning effort against the Mets in which the only hit he allowed has a solo home run from New York’s Shawn Green.

Zambrano has a 4-1 career record versus the rival ChiSox with a 4.31 ERA and took two of those games last season. He was part of a high-scoring 15-11 Cubs win back in July of 2006 and pitched seven innings against the White Sox in May, allowing four runs on four hits.

      Pick: Cubs -141

New York Yankees at New York Mets: (-138, 9 ½)

Game 1 of the Subway Series was a pitchers duel. Game 2 was a slugfest. So what can bettors expect from Game 3 of the Yankees versus Mets on Sunday Night Baseball?

If you’ve been following the ongoing saga of young Yankees pitchers then you might have a hunch about tonight’s outcome with rookie callup Tyler Clippard making his MLB debut.

Clippard is the 11th different starter for the Yankees this season and the seventh rookie to debut. All of the youngsters struggled in their first game for New York with the best start coming from Matt DeSalvo, who allowed only one run over seven innings but was on the wrong side of a controversial call.

Clippard gave reporters the generic answer when asked about his chances tonight on such a big stage and insisted he liked pitching under pressure. The 22-year-old will get all the pressure he can handle with the pride of Yankee faithful riding on his untested right arm.

      Pick: Mets -138

          Utah at New Jersey
San Antonio comes in a prohibitive Vegas favorite after dispatching Phoenix in six games. But the Jazz have been impressive since losing the first two games to Houston at the start of the postseason. Since that time, Utah has gone 8-2 straight up and 8-1-1 against the spread while eliminating the Rockets and Golden State. The Jazz have also taken three of their last four ATS on the road. Utah looks like a decent underdog pick (+6 1/2) in this one according to Dunkel, which has San Antonio favored by only 1. Dunkel Pick: Utah (+6 1/2). Here are all of today's games.

          SUNDAY, MAY 20

Game 703-704: Utah at San Antonio
Dunkel Ratings: Utah 126.739; San Antonio 127.846
Dunkel Line & Total: San Antonio by 1; 190
Vegas Line & Total: San Antonio by 6 1/2; 185

            Anaheim at Detroit
Anaheim got right back into the series with a Game Four win (5-3) even without star defenseman Chris Pronger, who served a one-game suspension for his hit on Tomas Holmstrom. Ducks' coach Randy Carlyle played Ric Jackman in Pronger's place and the sub responded by scoring on his first shot. Now Pronger returns for the critical Game Five and the Ducks have already shown they can break through on Detroit's ice as they did in Game Two. Anaheim looks like a good underdog pick in this one according to Dunkel, which has the Ducks favored straight up by 1/2 a goal. Dunkel Pick: Anaheim (+1 1/2). Here are all of today's games.

            SUNDAY, MAY 20

            Game 53-54: Anaheim at Detroit
Dunkel Ratings: Anaheim 13.547; Detroit 13.083
            Dunkel Line & Total: Anaheim by 1/2; 4 1/2
            Vegas Line & Total: Detroit by 1 1/2; 5

                Hot

Justin Verlander (Detroit Tigers) - The Tigers are a good bet to finish off the three-game sweep of the Cardinals today when Verlander takes the hill. Last year's AL Rookie of the Year is 4-1 with a 2.76 ERA and is going for his fourth straight win. Opponents are batting just .237 against the right-hander, who has not given up more than three earned runs in any of his eight starts. He shut down the best team in baseball this past Tuesday, limiting the Boston Red Sox to only two runs on six hits in a 7-2 win.

                Cold

Jason Hirsh (Colorado Rockies) - Hirsh is making his first career interleague start when Rockies host the Royals as -155 favorites. The right-hander is 2-4 with a 3.99 ERA and is 0-3 in his last three trips to the mound. He had some unfortunate luck in his last outing when he only allowed three runs against the Diamondbacks but his mistakes were costly as the Rockies bats were shutout by Randy Johnson.

Ramon Ortiz (Minnesota Twins) - Ortiz will try to regain the form he had to start the season when the Twins play the Brewers as +137 underdogs. The Minnesota starter is 3-4 with a 4.89 ERA and is trying to avoid losing his fourth straight decision. He opened the season 3-1 and limited opponents to three runs or fewer in each outing. Recently, Ortiz has been touched for 16 runs on 20 hits in his last three defeats. Ortiz has been a solid pitcher in interleague games, though, compiling a 10-5 record with a 4.20 ERA in 18 starts.

You can't always get what you want, but if you try some time, you might find, you get what you need.

Detroit won three of four games vs Cleveland this season, with teams splitting pair in Auburn Hills (Cavs 101-97/Detroit 87-82). Cavs are 7-0 in playoffs when they score 86+ points; they're 4-1 on road. Detroit has edge in experience; this is fifth year in row for them in conference finals, while it is Lebron's first, but when the underdog has the best player on court, they are dangerous. Up to Hughes/Ilgauskus to step up, give some support.
