    Detroit at Boston
The Red Sox have been smoking, winning 10 of their last 12, including last night's 7-1 thumping of the Tigers behind Daisuke Matsuzaka's first career complete game. But despite last night's setback, Detroit has been no slouch either, winning 11 of its last 14. And no pitcher has been tougher for Jim Leyland's team than Justin Verlander, who has led the Tigers to wins in four of his last five starts. Verlander has also pitched some of his best ball on the road and brings a miniscule 0.90 road ERA to the mound tonight. The Tigers look like a good underdog pick (+130) according to Dunkel, which has Detroit favored straight up by 1. Dunkel Pick: Detroit (+130). Here are all of today's games.

      Chicago at Detroit
The Bulls avoided an embarrassing sweep with a 102-87 win in Game Four that saw Chicago hold onto a 19-point lead after blowing one in Game Three. But while Scott Skiles' team showed plenty of determination, the win was still at home. Tonight they have to go back to Detroit where the Pistons dominated the Bulls in Games One and Two, winning by 26 and 21 points, respectively. With the Pistons not wanting to let another opportunity to close out slip away, Detroit looks like a good pick to cover the Vegas line (-7) according to Dunkel, which has the Pistons favored by 11. Dunkel Pick: Detroit (-7). Here are all of today's games.

        Detroit at Anaheim
Detroit is kicking itself after letting the home-ice advantage slip away with a 4-3 overtime loss in Game Two. Now the Red Wings have to try to steal one in Anaheim, not an easy task considering the Ducks are 5-1 at home in the postseason. But after losing their first two postseason road games in Calgary, the Wings have bounced back by winning three of their last four, including the series-clincher in San Jose. With these two teams expected to be locked in a defensive struggle, Detroit looks like a dangerous underdog according to Dunkel, which has the Red Wings favored straight up by 1/2 a goal. Dunkel Pick: Detroit (+1 1/2). Here are all of today's games.

Milwaukee Brewers at Philadelphia Phillies (-103, 10)
            Trends courtesy of BettorsChat.com
Everyone is entitled to a bad day, or even a rough week once in a while. But Milwaukee Brewers manager Ned Yost doesn’t want his team making a habit out of slumps like the one they’re stuck in right now.

The Brewers have lost three of their last four games and most of the blame is falling on the bullpen. Milwaukee’s relievers are posting a 10.28 ERA since the slump began and, on Monday, blew their first win in 22 games they were leading going into the seventh inning.

"You're going to go through it," Yost told MLB.com. "You hate to do it, but there's no way around it. You try to keep these nights to a minimum but there's no way around it over the course of 162 games.”

If anything can get the Brew Crew out of this rut it’s another solid start from right-hander Claudio Vargas. He is 3-0 this season with a 2.65 ERA and Milwaukee has won all six games in which he took the mound. Hopefully Vargas can go deeper into Tuesday's game than he has in past starts.

            Pick: Brewers -105

Baltimore Orioles at Toronto Blue Jays (+105, 9 ½)
            Trends courtesy of BettorsChat.com
The Toronto Blue Jays dug deep into their minor league affiliates last week trying to fill staff ace Roy Halladay's rather large shoes. (Halladay is on the disabled list recovering from a recent appendectomy.)

After an excavation worthy of Indiana Jones, the Blue Jays came up with 22-year-old Jesse Litsch from Double-A New Hampshire. The major league club is impressed with Litsch's quick start for the Fisher Cats, going 5-1 this season with a 0.96 ERA. The right-hander has allowed only one run in his last four minor league starts and depends on his major-league caliber changeup.

While backing a young pitcher in his big-league debut is considered taboo by some bettors, all Toronto is asking from Litsch is a few solid innings before handing the ball to its underrated bullpen. Blue Jays relievers stumbled during April but have improved their collective ERA to 3.71. In the last five games, the bullpen has only allowed a single earned run and has an ERA well under one.

            Pick: Blue Jays +105

San Francisco Giants at Houston Astros (-117, 9)
            Trends courtesy of BettorsChat.com
The Houston Astros have a large black and orange monkey on their backs and it’s been there for seven years. Houston has failed to win a series against San Francisco since 1999, posting a 13-33 record versus the Giants during this time.

“We have not played well against the Giants, particularly in this park," catcher Brad Ausmus told the Houston Chronicle. "Realistically that has nothing to do with this year at all.

"They have a lot of new personnel. They have a new manager. We have new personnel, so it's a clean slate."

Tuesday’s starter for San Francisco, Matt Morris, went 2-0 against the Astros last season and has an 11-10 career record versus Houston. This year, the right-hander is 4-1 with a 3.11 ERA and has put in quality starts all season.

            Pick: Giants +110
