    Ottawa at New Jersey
While Martin Brodeur is the bigger name, Ottawa goalie Ray Emery has been the star of the series. Emery finally had his home shutout streak snapped at 153:33 in Game Five, but still made 29 saves to pick up the win and give the Senators a 3-1 series lead. Brodeur has been strong, stopping 130 of 141 shots, but the Sens are finding enough ways to score on him to put the Devils on the brink of elimination. Ottawa will try to close it out on the road tonight where they've gone 3-1 in the postseason, including a Game One win (5-4), while the Devils are just 3-2 on their home ice. The Senators look like a good underdog pick in this one according to Dunkel, which has Ottawa favored straight up by 1 1/2. Dunkel Pick: Ottawa (+1 1/2). Here are all of today's games.

      Saturday, May 5

      Hot

Roy Halladay (Toronto Blue Jays) - The Blue Jays ace is making a case to wrest the AL Cy Young award away from the Minnesota Twins' Johan Santana. Halladay is 4-0 on the season with a 2.28 ERA for the Blue Jays, -155 road favorites tonight against the Texas Rangers. Bolstering the case for Halladay tonight is the Doctor's 1.67 ERA during night games and a miniscule .213 OBP against over his last three starts.

Jeff Suppan (Milwaukee Brewers) - Wonder if the Cardinals would like to have Suppan back in their rotation? Judging by the numbers, the answer would have to be yes. Suppan is 3-0 since April 15 with a stellar 1.57 ERA and 1.09 WHIP. The 2006 NLCS MVP has also posted a 2.45 ERA at Miller Park so far this season, where the Brew Crew are -140 favorites tonight against the Pittsburgh Pirates.

      Cold

Derek Lowe (Los Angeles Dodgers) - Lowe and Dodgers backers are in for a challenge tonight against the red-hot Atlanta Braves and starting pitcher Tim Hudson. This has as much to do with Lowe's recent performances as it does anything Atlanta is doing. Lowe is winless in his last three starts with a steep 5.50 ERA. The sinkerballer's biggest problem during the skid has been keeping runners off the base paths, as he has put up a .410 OBP against and 1.83 WHIP since the middle of April. Oddsmakers have the Dodgers as +139 underdogs tonight at Turner Field in Atlanta.

Julian Tavarez (Boston Red Sox) - Not only do the Red Sox have the '"luxury" of facing the Twins with Johan Santana on the mound, they'll have to do it with their worst starter taking the bump. Tavarez has been shaky at best lately, sporting a 7.20 ERA over his last three trips to the mound. Making matters worse, Tavarez has given up four home runs over that stretch while striking out only eight batters. Books have Boston as +196 underdogs for tonight's game.

        Saturday, May 5

Cleveland Indians at Baltimore Orioles (+105, 9 ½)

The Cleveland Indians are a decidedly better team at home this season. Cleveland is 11-3 at Jacobs Field and 6-6 everywhere else. They won seven of eight games during their recent homestand, but showed their weakness in last night’s 3-2 loss to the Orioles.

Cleveland’s starter has also struggled to compete on the road this season. Jeremy Sowers is 0-1 with a 6.32 ERA in three starts on the road and has almost twice as many walks (7) as strikeouts (4).

Orioles’ starter Daniel Cabrera is as solid a bet at home as Sowers is a fade on the road. Baltimore is 3-1 in Cabrera’s home starts this season and the big right-hander has 22 strikeouts against eight walks.

        Pick: Orioles +105

Boston Red Sox at Minnesota Twins (-214, 8 ½)

Johan Santana’s numbers at home this season don’t speak very well to facing a formidable Red Sox lineup. The two-time Cy Young winner is 1-2 with a 5.40 ERA in three home starts this season.

Boston, on the other hand, continues to flash its bat. The Red Sox’s offense has carried them to three straight wins, and seven wins in their last 10 games. They showed in their last road series they were finally over their struggles on the road, putting up 19 runs in three games at Yankee Stadium.

Backing the team with the best record in the majors with odds at 2-to-1 is just too good to pass up, even with Julian Tavarez pitching for Boston.

        Pick: Red Sox +196

Toronto Blue Jays at Texas Rangers (+144, 9)

The Jays’ success against the Rangers hasn’t been good – especially on the road. Toronto is 5-15 in its last 20 games against Texas, dating back to early in the 2003 season.

Surprisingly, staff ace Roy Halladay is mirroring his team’s failure against the Rangers. The former Cy Young winner is 2-1 in Texas over the last six years, but is carrying a 6.15 ERA in seven career starts.

Vicente Padilla will start for the Rangers.

        Pick: Rangers +144
