NE didn't need him as Brady can turn most receivers into all stars.

I would have rather seen them add another RB since Dillion quit. If Maroney gets hurt then all then all we have is Faulk.

This is a steal for New England. Belichick has proven that he won't take crap from players. If Moss acts up, he'll be suspended. Moss has an opportunity with Brady to revitalize his career. He'll take it.

The ones who look like idiots are the Packers who didn't draft a receiver and still have no one for Favre to throw to. A measly 4th round pick for Moss is a total steal for New England and an indication why they are a top team and the Packers are mediocre. If I were Favre, I'd question why I'm coming back to a franchise too stupid to give me a receiver.

Moss knows all about N.E. and he wanted to go there. That in itself should tell you something. Look for a huge year!

He played College ball in W.V. and most of his road games were in the midwest, in the winter. It didn't seem to be a problem then ... or in G.B. when he played.

The Packers fucked it up again, would have liked to see him here just don't like all the baggage he comes with, he would've been crying by week 6 here cause he wasn't getting all the balls. I'll give'm tell week 8 in NE.

I'm not sure Moss will approve of the New England reefer when compared to the CALI chronic he's been spoiled with.

Wayne- let me understand this- Green bay offers a 4th which is higher than NE 4th pick. Moss will only restructure his contract if he goes to NE and so the deal is done! The question here is restructuring his contract- does that mean Oakland is going to pay part of this for him to go away? Where does that place NE with its cap and its draft picks that they wish to sign! Maybe they are not finished trading! Moss was a no brainer for a 4th and it was evident that Moss could run in Oakland but the QB was not up to the task of finding him!
I must admit--I believe Oakland has screwed up once again. They get a very strong armed QB in Russell and with Moss that could have been a great combination! Congrats to NE fans.

Last i heard, N.E. had been about 20 million under the cap the last few years. That's why people bitched and couldn't understand why they wouldn't pay Branch or Adam V. cuz they had the money. This year the cap is raised a few more million and N.E. had (from what i heard 20-25 million) under the cap to spend. I think they want to restructure Moss to a longer deal and they had plenty of money to play with and sign all the FA's and draft picks.

Some have heard that N.E,. may have also given a 1st round pick next year too. If they did i'm fine with that because after yesterday's trade with S.F., we (once again) have 2 1st round picks next year.

I think it was a great deal and this team has loaded up in the offseason with all that available cap money (finally)!

i love this move. i mean seriously. moss was on a lousy vikings team and a pathetic raiders team. you stick him in the mix with the pats which has a great supporting cast, i look for big things from him

Bry, Andrew Walter & Aaron Brooks couldn't throw a good pass for the life of them. Moss will run, and run hard for this team and i have a feeling he can't wait to prove himself as an elite receiver again!
