There's a reason stupid expressions like "you can't teach an old dog new tricks" and "a leopard can't change his spots" exists.....It's because it's true.
We heard all of this with that problem child called Corey Dillon too. How did that work out? Never a problem and a Super Bowl. Everyone said Dillon would ruin chemistry and he enjoyed every day here.

Maybe next NE will trade for Terrell Owens.

If I was Moss playing for art shell and aaron brooks i would have tanked it too. You will see a much different attitude in the patriots locker room, knowing if you do the right thing you'll probably win a ring.

Great 40 times yes...but will he run them or take off plays.

He was happy and excited to go to Oakland also...Now that they are a garbage can of a franchise, I think even Al Davis would be excited to get out of there.

I do agree a 4th rounder is a deal. I just don't see him fitting in.

...and Wayne a comparison to Clemens could never be farther off. Clemens ALWAYS had a strong work ethic, Moss never has.

as long as moss is a model citizen for one year and win a championship its worth the risk. a 4th round pick will always be worth this type of risk IMO.

Did anyone watch Oakland last year?

Aaron Brooks and Andrew Walter had trouble throwing the ball past the left tackle. They scored their lowest points in team history and any WR in the game would have had an awful and frustrating year with those qb's. They were HORRID and sacked on every other down.

People looking at last year to base their opinion on Moss are blind and making a big mistake (imo). If he ran those times @ 4.29 ??????? Are you kidding me!!!!!

If he comes to play ... and he is STOKED to be here ... Look tha' fuck out cuz he will be in the Pro Bowl next year!

Seriously, what real "Trouble" has he been in? Everything was pretty minor imo and when he was happy in Minny, he was great. He also has NEVER had a true leader at coach in the NFL. I think all will agree with that.

Wayne please dont think I'm just trying to be an asshole towards you or your team just discussing this.

anyway...I really think the guy is limited all he can do is go deep. He will not and never has been a threat across the middle. If he doesn't get thrown the quick out he will just go long. His best years have been with Minny and that was because all Culpepper was able to do was throw long.
They still only play with one football and after a few games go bye...and hopefully not a failed drug test...the guy will show his true colors.

                              I hear ya' wally.

... But have you ever seen Brady throw the deep ball? He is one of, if not the best in the game. They talk about it constantly on T.V. and he used to throw it to Deion Branch all the time. It led to a SB MVP and a Pro Bowl for Branch. Brady has that again and he has Welker, Watson and Caldwell for the short and middle passes. This will open everything up even more for an already pretty good offense.

4.29 40 times are not to be ignored.
