I suppose you have a point, but even so, I think if he really pursued the issue and explained the situation to his friends, maxed out his credit cards, etc. (I assume he mush have had some money of his own), he should have been able to come up with some money at least to hedge with.

I cannot believe he didn't hedge - you HAVE to! The 100K is free money - nothing wagered to get it. You want to at least get a nice consolation out of the deal, say $20K. He had a 4-5 day break between pick 20 & 21 so I figured he was on a plane to Vegas.

Thanks again everyone. It was a nice run, and even though the odds of it happening again are slim, I'll get right back on the horse and try again. This was probably the most excititing month i've had, but it actually feels good to be over.

I know I don't need to, but I apologize to everyone that tailed me on that pick. For you guys it was win or lose, for me it was win or win. No, I do not work for bodog, *********, or sports direct. And no, I did not make a pick I thought would lose just to get money on the other side.

I'm not going to make excuses, it was 8 innings of excitement and I felt confident in the pick. I will, however, question the pitching change in the bottom of the 8th for a while. I still can't understand why you take out Calero with 1st and 3rd with 2 outs in a 5-1 game and put in Embry (a lefty) to face Huff? Maybe the "numbers" were better, but its 5-1, not 2-2 or 3-2.

I wish Tuppy good luck on his chase for 21! Advice for him and everyone:
