    Question to the BC Folks! Hedging?

    I am in a quandery over hedging this bet and placing something on Ottawa. Would you hedge or ride it out? If hedged -what amount and style of bet would you choose? Thank You for your time!

    This is what I am working on!

    Hmmmm! I am thinking about the time I waste helping out where I can on this site and now- I ask for some advice and get nothing. Like a simple yes or no would do! Well - on to other forums!

          Just saw this. Most likely I would let it ride.

          I would take either:

          52 Ottawa Senators -1 -101 for 300

          or

          52 Ottawa Senators +1 -345 risking 345 to win 100, this leaves me many ways to win with little risk
          2012 - 2013 NCAAF

          21 - 20 - 0

          2012 - 2013 NFL

          14 - 10 - 1

            Thanx Dennis and Bill- Don't mean to have an attitude but the view count was double that Dennis and no bites. Dennis -those are my only choices. Bill - Thanx- That is the direction I was heading. Now specifically- it would take me awhile to structure the bet so I win the most I can!

              Tricky because their's two different lines involved.
              ML I'd play Ottawa to win at least 200, you stand to pull back 603 with Pitt winning straight up.
              Puck line there's 242 coming back...hard to lay Otta +1.5 -460. Hell you'd have to risk 184 just to cover the original 40.
              But there you have a chance of a middle, one goal game.
              Me, I'd throw something on the other side, just to insure some profit, it's a marathon, not a sprint.

                            OK - Gawd I can get so impatient at times- Sorry about that!
                            Anyway- I decided on the famous -1 line 202 to win 200
                            where a one point win by Ottawa pays me
                            201.27 and I push on the above bet.
                            A two point and more win pays me 200.
                            A Pitt win pays me 744.44 - 202 = 542.44
                            Can't lose now! Thanks for helping me figure it out!
