      MONDAY, APRIL 9

      Milwaukee at Florida
Milwaukee's newly acquired Jeff Suppan pitched well in his first appearance (2 runs on 7 hits over 7 innings), but failed to get much run support in a 5-4 loss to the Dodgers. Florida starter Anibal Sanchez allowed 10 hits and 4 runs in 5 2/3 innings to the anemic Nationals in his first outing. " I need an explanation as to how Norm Stewart can get in the Basketball Hall of Fame, but not Jerry Tarkanian."

I would like for someone to explain how Norm Stewart and John Chaney can get in, but not Guy Lewis. I challenge anyone to put their accomplishments side by side and make that case.
Only two coaches put 3 players on NBA top 50 of all time team, and one of them was Dean Smith. Can anyone name the other?

Hakeem Olajuwon was a raw athletic tall soccer player when he came to the US. Who , pray tell, does anybody think taught Olajuwon the game?

5 Final Fours, and since he lost the Big One that he shouldn't have, he is not deserving? Is he the Bill Buckner of hoops, remembered for 5 seconds of his career?

                Sorry, had to vent.
You can't always get what you want, but if you try some time, you might find, you get what you need.
