While the Wizards have welcomed back Antawn Jamison, they haven't exactly been lighting it up since his return. Washington has barely survived two tight home games against lower-rated Atlanta (93-92) and Golden State (107-106) with Jamison in the lineup. Tonight they get a much stiffer challenge from Toronto, which has struggled in its last two games against hot Cleveland and Milwaukee teams, but had won three of its previous four road games prior to that, including wins at Houston and Chicago. Florida at Atlanta
The Thrashers have bounced back from a slump that saw them lose nine of 11 by winning their last three to move into a first place tie with Tampa Bay in the Southeast. Atlanta is also 5-0-0 against the Panthers this season and has won nine straight home meetings against them. But despite the mismatch in numbers, Florida has a good shot in this one thanks to a season-high four-game winning streak, including a 6-2 win over the Lightning on Saturday. Olli Jokinen has scored in all four contests, while Martin Gelinas has picked up at least two assists in four of his last seven games. This may be as good a chance as the Panthers have to break through in Atlanta and look like a good underdog pick according to Dunkel, which has Florida favored straight up by 1/2 a goal.
