Sorry, i am just pissed. I guess this job will always be a stepping stone. That is the thing that hurts more than anything, cause i pay the money, i make EVERY BOWL TRIP, weather i can afford it or not. And when your own coach leaves you it hurts.

He didn't learn from that great John L. Smith move to Michigan State a few years back. How can he make a passing game for a team who doesn't have a throwing QB, no WR's and runs the ball about 75% of the time.

I understand being upset at a coach leaving, but give me a break. Dude was making $2.5 million a year, and nearly doubled that to $5 million a year. Yes, sometimes it is as simple as that. At the time he made comments about staying, he may have meant it. Things change. He has made himself a lot more marketable and a job opportunity presented itself that wasn't there this time a year or two ago.

If this was his first offer for another post (college or NFL) I wouldn't be upset but every year he said he wasn't talking to other schools but only to find out was lying and had to back track. Like I said in my earlier post his PR machine has been on shaky grounds. Also, we (the fans) found out about the coach before him (John L. Smith) was going to Michigan St. during Louisville's bowl game at halftime and that was the only talk for the 2nd half, the players found out and we lost because the team wasn't into it.

First off who the fuck is Louisville and Bobby Petrino? Where did this guy come from? I know he replaced John L but only because John L came to MSU where he just got smoked.......there are a few jobs in this country where you dont ever leave unless you are fired or retire and Louisville isnt one of them.

Fuck come to think of it I dont think that school exists anymore either.....im sure if they threw enough money at Tressell he would take off and I doubt Weiss will ever fulfill his contract with ND because you have to know he burns for a shot to see if he has what it takes to coach in the pros.

Louisville is an up and comer but they arent there just yet......at first I didnt care but I guess when their fans spend their cash and follow the team around then sure they have a right to be pissed I guess but I wouldnt give it more than a night JC.......more important shit to care about then a coach and a school who wouldnt piss on you if you were on fire.....IMO this is a hobby for us but its Petrino's life and he has to do whats best for him.....not Louisville and their fans

To understand this from a Louisville fan, he talked to the Auburn officials behind Tuberville (spelling?), lied about talking to LSU after Saban left a week after saying he love the program and wasn't interested in any other job. His PR machine has been on shaky ground the last few years, Finally he said, he would be here for serval years to come. This my reason to be pissed off, I feel sorry for the players.

Football fans but especially college football fans take their football FAR TOO SERIOUS.

There's more important things in our everyday life than worrying about Bobby Petrino. You guys need a dose of reality. We have families, children homes, jobs etc. That's what's important. Not what some coach none of us know decided to move on.
