i do not understand why the NFL is considered the next logical step...

I think college is such a better job....All your players are like 1st round draft choices.....Most times you are the GM as well.....live in a college town....develop kids before they become primadonnas.....

I just do not see the upside here....

      Good Luck to everyone

      Clark: What's steroids?
Richie: Something that makes your pee-pee smaller.
Clark: There must be steroids in macaroni!

Schiano did the honorable thing. I hope his loyalty is rewarded with some BCS games for Rutgers in the near future.

My guess is that they bring in another hot shot coach (rumor is the Tulsa coach who turned that program around) and the beat goes on.

I guess it's hard for some of these guys to resist the lure of the NFL. These college to NFL transitions have not been successful lately, though.
FUCK HIM MULE, AND YES TULSA COACH IS OUR NEXT ONE. HE CAN SUCK MY DICK AS FAR AS BEING GRATEFULE, HE WAS PAID WELL FOR HIS SERVICES

But aren't the Tulsa fans going to feel like you are now? That how these things work. Someone is always going to end up on the business end of an ass reaming.

To understand this from a Louisville fan, he talked to the Auburn officials behind Tuberville (spelling?), lied about talking to LSU after Saban left a week after saying he love the program and wasn't interested in any other job. His PR machine has been on shaky ground the last few years, Finally he said, he would be here for serval years to come. This my reason to be pissed off, I feel sorry for the players.

i would think there is more baby sitting in the NFL since you have zero control over the players.....especially the good ones....i think some of the contracts in ncaa are getting pretty good......I just think a college job can be a lifetime job where a pro one is short

if you don't follow the rules in the NFL, the Coach just Fines the Player, something he can't do in College..

i realize all that and i still think the college game is a better environment....however, i imagine it depends on the pro team and the owner and i guess blank is a good owner....

i do not think it is like that anymore chuck with the fines....the players association is pretty fucking powerful and many times get fines reduced...

the days of intimidation coaching are over...most guys make too much $$$ and the union has too much power

Yeah , i guess they are. But aside from Louisville NO ONE WAS LOOKING AT THEIR COACH. So how good is he, HE GOT PUNKED in his bowl game with that tradition rich UTAH team.

Sorry, i am just pissed. I guess this job will always be a stepping stone. That is the thing that hurts more than anything, cause i pay the money, i make EVERY BOWL TRIP, weather i can afford it or not. And when your own coach leaves you it hurts.
