Motor City Bowl, Detroit

Weird situation for Central Michigan (6-2 vs spread as favorite this season) in that Kelly bolted Chippewas for Cincinnati, but is going to coach this game, as five assistants stayed behind to help prepare Central for this game. Kelly will then go straight to Cincinnati and coach Bearcats in their bowl. Not sure what the players' reaction is to his leaving as soon as they got good.

Middle Tennessee has 1st-year coach in Stockstill (former Fla. State QB,also worked for Spurrier as ass't coach) who has good offense, but they didn't win Sun Belt, blowing 13-point lead in last 2:10 to Troy, in deciding game. Troy won its bowl , so that should help Raiders'confidence here, in what will basically be a road game, since Central Michigan less than three hours from FordField - they won MAC title on this field earlier this month.

Game got bet down from 11.5 to 8, so public on board with the Blue Raiders. Home field favors Chippewas, but MAC side lost three of last four Motor City Bowls, and failed to cover last two times they were favored. Weird coaching situation is a huge red flag for Central. I like Middle Tennessee and the over here.

Gilbert Arenas is hot and that usually means good things for the Wizards. Washington just completed a successful western road trip (3-1) that included overtime wins against the Lakers and Phoenix with Arenas scoring 60 and 54 points in those two games, respectively.
