Hard to go against Hester - he has changed the tone of the game to take pressure off of Grossman so many times...

Jones Drew is built low- able to shed tackles- and has breakaway speed. Emmitt Smith is in awe. Vince Young has had a nice season but he has struggled somewhat as well. And he won't win it. Bush has added a unique touch and has a chance. But Drew has shared touches with Fred Taylor and has come the farthest of any of them to date. Jaquars have Drew now on punt returns as well- 309 all purpose yards against the Colts- and just how many touches did he get - not many--don't piss Fred Taylor off but get the ball in Drews hands as much as possible. See Drew run!

It's beyond me how Maurice Jones-Drew only has 4 votes (including mine) ........ and everybody knows i'm the biggest V. Young fan here.

(IMO) ... Those are the only 2 players who should receive votes. Colston would be my 3rd choice but he has missed alot of time of late.

I like Maroney While he may not have the numbers others have I think he has a huge impact on where his team is at. Without him there is no running threat (Dillion is not what he used to be). Maroney does it all and he catches passes out of the backfield even

Hester is a GREAT return man but C'MON!!!!!!!

Jones-Drew and V. Young can quickly trump those TD's and Hester isn't on the field for 95% of the game. When he is and has to play defense like monday night, he gets burned badly. V. Young has put a very average Titans team ON HIS BACK and there is NO WAY Hester has had a bigger impact then him!

Too much missed time and he is on a team that has this record every year at this point.

lets talk impact---------Hester can turn a game completely around, as he has shown many times this year........

He forces teams to short kick away from him, thus rendering good field position for his offfense......

Ditto for his run backs that don't go all the way.....he sets up good field position, and as far as his vesatility, his coaches say he can play virtualy numerous positions on Offense, and defense, and adds a fifth dimension to special teams.......

Young is dynamite, and makes thing happen, but that doesn't lessen what Hester has done for his team, in his 5%playing time..........

Young is out there 45-50 % of the time.........its what you do when you're out there.....kapt

I see no comparison impact wise between a QB who time after time leads his team to a 4th qtr comeback in less than 10 games vs a return man on a GREAT team that just adds an added dimension. Would Chicago be (11-2) w/out Hester? Probably, maybe at worst (10-3) but what would Tenn. be without Vince? (2-11), (3-10)? Certainly not (6-7) and on a 4 game winning streak, thanks soley to Vince refusing to let his team lose. There is NO WAY Hester has the impact that Vince has had. If you want to be technical, Hester gave up the 2 TD's he scored by playing defense and getting burned all night. He is a big liability on defense right now!

They will also stop kicking to him. Sqib it or whatever and give them the 35-40. Then What? His game and touches will evaporate. Can you avoid Vince touching the rock and shitting your pants in the 4th? Nope!

Getting back to the Mario Williams pick, it's not just that Houston was idiotic enough to take him over Bush but they also chose him over everybody else!

And, for what it's worth, I think Matt Leinart should be on the list although I'd vote for Young
