While I am supposed to be concentrating on my PGA books here, I am trying to think of a better class of impact rookies. Reggie Bush, Vince Young, Maurice Jones-Drew, Marques Colston, some defensive guys listed earlier I am forgetting, Matt Leinart, Ferguson from the Jets, center from the Jets. I can't remeber a better class in some time that has had such an impact so early in their careers. If these guys continue to excel in the future years, the NFL will be an exciting league and be even bigge than it is now. Hell, a rookie is leading the jersey sales among NFL'ers. Anyway, as I need to concentrate on this damn bookwork, some order of Vince Young, Marques Colston, Reggie Bush, and Devin Hester will be among top 5. My vote is Vince Young over Colston, only b/c Colston got hurt and missed time when Young got hot. P.S. Sorry to be so long-winded but I am getting loopy at this hour after typing for the last 5 hours.

Demarcus Ware is a second year player, I assume that's who you mean.
Offense: It will be brutal if Colston doesn't win it. The only other guy you could even argue for is VY, but he's only been doing it half the season, and his numbers aren't great, other than the wins. Colston has been the biggest threat for a team that is looking at a #2 seed in the NFC, and is a lock to make the Pro Bowl, likely as a starter.
Third choice would be Maroney, Drew fourth, Leinart and Ferguson next. Reggie Bush doesn't deserve a mention. He's the second best running back and fourth best receiver on his own team.
Defense: Demeco Ryans. For as great as the offensive rookies have been, the defensive rookies have been equally as disappointing, but this guy has been tackling everybody (128 so far), probably because no one else on the Texans can tackle.Records:
