What about Alge Crumpler....he only leads the NFL for TEnds in touchdowns and 10+ yard receptions....He is Atlanta's MVP.

Vick IS a coach killer. He may be the best athlete in the NFL but not since Tony Mandarich has anyone been so overrated.

BUT to compare him to V Young GIVE ME A BREAK....Neither will find big success in the NFL. Young has 8 td's and 8 interceptions and I believe his QB rating is in the 60's. Remember coming out of college this guy was labeled as low intelect and the playbook was simplified for him....That does not change ....children get smarter adults DON'T.
I also believe a running QB's days in the NFL are over. You need a QB that can run, but also pass. The game is much too fast now and a running QB can't survive the long haul.

I don't think Vince Young is going to win the MVP anytime soon but watching what he did in 2 consecutive Rose Bowls was unbelieveable. The 2 biggest games of his career and he put up back 2 back numbers passing and running in both games that are unmatched in history. That wasn't a fluke and he is simply stereotyped as a black running QB because he is and does it well BUT ....... His arm is 100 times better than Vick with accuracy and his decision making has already looked 100 times better than Vick's as well. He and he alone is a "Rookie" in this league on what has been considered a very poor team.

All he has done is gone in to Indy in his 2nd career start and play the Colts to a one point loss, gone to Washington and pulled out a late victory in start 3, Dropped 26 on Baltimore in the 1st half while losing by 1 in only his 6th start, went to Philly and won convincingly by 18 (and were leading when McNabb went out) in his 7th start and came back from down 21 with 10 to play against the Giants yesterday in his 8th start. They are playing a hell of alot better than the Falcons are with VERY limited talent. Travis Henry & Drew Bennett???

Vince Young is a WINNER and more importantly a LEADER. This guy will be stereotyped but i think it's a mistake and i also think he WILL BE a STAR in this League for many years to come!

Call it my opinion but remember he is a ROOKIE playing QB in the NFL and look at what he has done already. It shouldn't be considered an "Opinion" and it shouldn't be over looked.

wayne....your smugness knows no ends....(please re-read...i said i am not comparing the 2 players) I am saying after his 1st season the giants crowned him "the future"......There are some that think Young is not made for the pro game...(i am not one of them)....All i am saying is reserve judgement on him....just as i say to the cowboy fans to reserve judgement on Romo....Playing QB is most times a process.....where there are flashes of brilliance followed by periods of struggle.....and yes wayne....i am smart
