I will give you an analogy about the Bears

It would be as if some guy came in to fight Chuck Lidell and he said he had a 34-0 MMA record...but upon further inspection you found out he was fighting guys who were midgets (no offense Rook)...I mean little people and wheelchair bound people...

Although Chuck has 2 losses he fights anybody and everybody...

It is wasy to get giddy at 7-0 for Bears fans...I know you must play who is on the schedule....

      TOTALLY UNCALLED FOR!!!

      but damn funny.

I know exactly what your saying, and to a point I agree.

I don't know.....we destroyed Seattle who a week before destroyed....who was it again...oh yeah THE GIANTS!

We are getting zero credit for not only beating every team that we've faced but dominating them in all but 2 games if i'm not mistaken.

Are we the best team in the NFL? Time will tell....November will tell.

But I sure as hell hope that if we do come out of November with 1 or less losses that we will get the credit I think we deserve.

I'm not sold on them yet....I'm not stupid. I know the schedule...

Yes....we got stomped by Seattle....and you stomped them......

All BS aside......The Bears are good....REAL GOOD....

The jints are getting better......and should provide a stern test for the Bears.....

Each team has their ? marks....

I only bust balls to get a rise.....I know it will be a dogfight....

Also as far as a schedule....You can only play who they tell you to play,,,,

          See ya in 2 weeks

thats my point. i mean why not take the coin??? you'd be a fool not to. seriously you think those players give a rats ass about you??? NOPE. i'm not saying its not great to be a big fan of a team or have season tickets but if you have other obligations and can get huge $$$ for the game why not sell?? i would.

The point everybody seems to be missing is that they have DESTROYED the "weak" teams on their schedual.
                26-0 vs Green bay
                34-7 vs Detrit
                37-6 vs. Seattle-superbowl runner-ups
                40-7 vs Buffalo
                41-10 vs San fran

and beat a very good minnesota team on the road

Now...if they were 7-0 and were winning these games by 3-10 pts i can see how you can say that the scheduale is the reason for there record. This is not the case however as you can see above.
That being said I think the Giants win that game because they are at home and will be fired up against a 8-0 bears team BUT the bears will be the better team at the end of the year and you will see them is the Super Bowl!!!!

Who cares by how much they win the games by??? You do not get a win and a half for them......What happens when they are in a tussle in the 4th quarter.....will grossman be battle tested or will he fold and hope the D bails him out.....That stat can cut both ways....A win is a win.....Always has been...Always will be....The giants win over the eagles was as ugly as it gets....but it still counts...Same with the bears win over AZ.....still counts as much as the beatdown they put on the 49ers yesterday.....

The fact they beat who they are supposed to beat is a good sign of maturity....I will give you that....but the severity of the beatings means nothing to me

Exactly my point. If you win, fly the hell out of it. If you get beat, take it down and accept the fact you lost.

It was justification for pointing out that they have played a weak scheduale--they have-but the have dominated and desroyed teams. Do you think they would have the same respect from everone and instill fear in opponents is they won all there games by 3?

Let me play devils advocate...cause I know where he's coming from on this.

Lets say that we had to come back and beat San Fran yesterday, or Buffalo (sorry KB), and had very tight games vs Green Bay and Detroit...

There would be a HUGE AMOUNT of people saying how lucky the bears are to be 7-0. When your barely scraping by teams....you don't earn any respect...BUT the way that they are winning 5 of these 7 games NEEDS attention..and for the most part they have.

                                I see both points clearly.
