I am embarrassed to admit this, but I have followed Southern Dandy's philosophy in the past when it came to my beloved Red Sox. When a game came down to a game 7 in a division final or World Series (from 1986 to 2004), I would always play the opposing team for $100. My thinking was that I would gladly give $100 for the Sox to win. I would have gladly given my winnings for a Bosox win.
I would have never posted it as a big play, but it would have made me the best handicapper in the world from 1918-2004.Comment
