The reason why the Cards are favorite is because their is a midwestern bias that you do not see and everyone is on the Cardinals bandwagon...no one is giving the Mets a chance....

The Cardinals are definitely a streaky team this year but Albert Pujols said it best when he said in the playoffs everyone starts out with the same record all you have to do is get on a hot streak to win the World Series. I just hope that they continue streaking to a 10th World Series Championship.

I would agree...pitching wins Championships and the Mets starting pitching is suspect at best. I don't think Weaver and Suppan are anything to write home about but they are better than anything the Mets roll out there other than Glavine.
