He has a nice quiet and fairly pressure free job in S.D. where the weather is beautiful and the team is always in contention. Personally, i feel like he wants no part of that circus with the team he is building and i think he would be stupid to leave S.D.

i agree, but SD isnt 1/2 the baseball town chicago is. also when you get huge coin its hard to turn it down.....just ask gay-rod....lol

I would definetly agree with you Wayne but I am not too sure right now ... they know they have to do some drastic changes to this team .. and they know that Girardi is the top choice among Cub fans ...

I hope they get him. It would be the right choice ....... Then maybe they get rid of Wood & Prior and people will believe they are SERIOUS about Winning!

The only 2 teams with a worse record was T.B. & K.C. and that is simply UNACCEPTABLE (IMO)!!!!!!!

giradi wont be the cubs manager next year.....lol aparently what i'm hearing is that someone in the organization doesnt like him.......cubs are a joke, they are an embarassment. not to hire him would be a huge mistake.

Just because they had their interview and didn't hire him on the spot doesn't mean there are any potential problems.

Cubs are going to take their time and make sure they get it right in their eyes. Hendry has one year to get it right....so I think he'll make the right choice.
