Well, I think it's all HYPE...I looked at roster of Aint's and see only 3 actually went to college anywhere near NO while Atl has more, so other than fans, who has motivation?...haven't looked at home towns of all but if any were smart, they packed up or never had homes there to begin with...the rush/hype will last 1Q at best IMO...then it's about playing the game...I see it being close but not close enough for a cover. Falcons running game & Vick open this up and keep Aint's guessing too much...like the OVER more than side but if taking one, I'd give the 4 easily...better team wins tonight.

I say better yet know DOGS barked yesterday...9 covering!

I see almost everyone is on Atlanta tonight. My thoughts are different....

Athletes can do extrordinary things when high on endorphins. The Saints will be pumped up to win this game with the crowd behind them. They will want a win for the first game at this new stadium. The Falcon's are not that much better. Drew Brees is a difference maker and is starting to play better and better. They will score on Atlanta. If the Saints 'D' can hold on, I think they win outright....Getting points in a matchup with this atmosphere is a bonus. I know this isn't a popular choice....

Kaz, I agree with the crowd. However, if the home team doesn't get off to a good start, which the Saints did tonite, it could become a disadvantage. Huge letdown for the fans and players.

The agree 100% about Brees. He's a very good QB. He turned around another floundering franchise. Getting points in this type of matchup is a huge advantage.

That's the one thing I could never understand about NFL coaches. Goal line and short yardage offense. Why cram all 11 guys in tight? Teams don't do it on first or second down. Why do it on 3rd down or on the goal line? It seems offenses fail in those situation too often.

The good thing for me is, I didn't look into trends at all for this game. I know Brees is a good QB and I knew the Saints would get a huge lift from the adrenaline....This game means too much for the fans and people of N.O. Not often you can find such an edge as they had tonight....And I agree with you Frank about stacking the line at the goal

nice call on the saints kaz....i liked them most of the day then changed my mind and took atlanta.....but i pounded the saints at +4.5 in the second half.

I really like Brees......I have a great memory of him when he first got to the pro's/ I was shooting photos on the field of the Raider's and Charger's game. It was during the pregame before the game started and Brees walked up to Jerry Rice and asked him if he would catch a pass for him if he threw it to him....Rice said sure, no problem and ran a route and Brees connected perfectly to him...Then he had Rice sign the ball...I thought, what great humility that was.....Very cool scene
