MNF thoughts from KAZ

I see almost everyone is on Atlanta tonight. My thoughts are different....

Athletes can do extrordinary things when high on endorphins. The Saints will be pumped up to win this game with the crowd behind them. They will want a win for the first game at this new stadium. The Falcon's are not that much better. Drew Brees is a difference maker and is starting to play better and better. They will score on Atlanta. If the Saints 'D' can hold on, I think they win outright....Getting points in a matchup with this atmosphere is a bonus. I know this isn't a popular choice....

could have some logic there, not to mention the sentimental value of playing after Katrina, and with the large crowd saying them selves what this game means to New Orleans.......I like the OVER here---kapt

Have to disagree, The Falcons IMO are a much better team then the Aint's. Bush hasn't impressed me at all except he can run 30 yrds to gain 5. Last week against GB the running game was terrible McAllister had 11 carries for 24 yrds until he broke one for 23 yds and Bush was 6/5yds against a poor GB DEF. Brees is coming around but I don't know about the WR, Horn? How old is that guy.

Don't worry Packer....I know I'm in the minority here. Everyone will more than likely win money tonight and I will take it in the shorts.I usually do. One of my opinions is something my dad always told me, "the mind is powerful thing." Hopefully for me, they will be able to overcome inadequacies and win the game.... I am not impressed with atlanta either. They beat carolina and tampa bay. Tampa is not very good and made baltimore look like superheros. Carolina is as we have seen overrated barly beating the previously mentioned bucs and losing to an improved but not great vikings team. I do not think there is much to take from these wins and now they go to NO who as u said will be jacked up. I havn't really looked at this game much but can see NO keeping it close and could easily see it coming down to a FG...I'm inclined to take the points.

anyone know if LSU Football or any of the basketball teams won their first game when playing at home in front of this type of crowd... maybe take into effect who they played and what not to see a possibility of the same outcome here... just a thought
