Minnesota at Baltimore
The Twins stumbled last night in Baltimore (7-3) and come into today's game a Vegas underdog against red-hot Erik Bedard and the O's. But Minnesota does not come in completely defenseless as starter Scott Baker had one of his best outings (6 innings, 1 run vs. Cleveland) in his last start. Overall Baker is now 2-1 with a decent 3.94 ERA in three September starts. Combined with the Twins' solid play of late (10-4 since August 8; 5-3 on current road trip) and this looks like a good opportunity to get playoff-contending team as an underdog according to Dunkel, which has Minnesota favored straight up by 1 1/2.
