One note: Oddsmakers did not open this game Canes -6.5, at least not the ones you should be paying attention to. If memory serves me correctly Pinnacle opened -3.5.
The public did not bet this game down.

I beg to differ with you, one of the first things I do is get the early lines for each week.......It INDEED was - 6 1/2.........and pray tell my GENIUS---know it all friend, which one of the offshore accts, or Vegas lines should I be paying attention to...The PUBLIC has indeed bet this game down, and are still betting FSU....Some SMART MONEY has come in on Canes and is now -4 in many places after a LONG LULL AT -3 1/2...

Since you're the only Intelligent enough or Qualified one here to tell us that, would you, in the future, print out for us the (YOUR true lines for next weeks games, so I don't make this (according to you) mistake again........

I don't fabricate figures to illustrate a point, and I don't make a mistake of that magnitude........I have the copy right here in front of me with the opening lines, and it plain as day says -6 1/2....Course maybe the Casino I got it from made a mistake by not chcking with you for your approval

PS---just because Pinnacle opened it at -3 1/2, doesn't mean someone else didn't open it at -6 1/2........There are lines out right now (have been for 2 weeks) for next weeks games, would you submit em to us, so we can all be right, not just you.....

I think you have looked at this with a very keen eye and feel you are right on, IMO...my gut all day was FLA but when the coin flipped, I felt MiaFla was correct team for most of the reasons you posted. I think Vegas is sucking all in w/ this DOG trend that the public has obviously fallen for...I hope...anyway, GL on your picks!!

I used to do that but it always opened it up to people questioning this and that and you end up burning up more time defending yourself. Here is the current with the opener you explained:

Thanks for the response, and the fact that Chris opened the line at -6, is also an indication that some one else could have had em at -6 1/2......would you convey this to screwtape who says the line NEVER opened at more than -3 1/2.......course I guess you're wrong too..........see my reply to screwed up tape above

kapt. I had no idea on this game, now I do. Thanks. Did you take all the Miami suspensions into consideration or are they all reserves. Where did you find the returning starters info. That's important early on. Good Luck.

Yes----I certainly did take the suspensions in consideration........thats too big an attribute to overlook.....This makes the Defense step up and cover any weaknesses they think they may have.......IMO----kapt
