Originally posted by TMAC951With all due respect Spark i have to ask you a question.. Before i do i will be a man and apoligize for what i said.. Ok now to my question.. You say that i can not discuss this like an adult by saying what i did then what would you call Wayne being a Mod himself calling me TFAG time and time again?? That wouldnt be called discussing like an adult would it?? Once again like i said im man enough to apoligize lets just see if the shoe fits and he does the same.

How can you say that to a mod and still want to be here??? Do you understand T where I am coming from??? I think you and Rook are pusing the envelope with him a little ... I personally never had a bit of trouble with you but I can not sit by and read what I did and not say something ...

i can not speak for anybody else but when i make statements and jabs at the guys it is all tongue in cheek......I am a sox fan and reserve the right to disagree vigorously regardless if he is a mod or not......
Not defending anyone here, but TMAC has taken as much as he has dished......He dishes it out, but i have to say he takes it too...
Not trying to open a can of worms, but fair is fair....

Somehow the title of this thread brings back memories of this very beautiful and meaningful song, which I just played on Napster.,
Substitute the word "Sox" for "flowers" and maybe a new rendition can be made.
Where Have All the Flowers Gone
Where have all the flowers gone? Long time passing.
Where have all the flowers gone? Long time ago.
Where have all the flowers gone?
Young girls picked them, ev'ry one.
When will they ever learn? When will they ever learn?
Where have all the young girls gone? Long time passing.
Where have all the young girls gone? Long time ago.
Where have all the young girls gone?
Gone to young men ev'ry one.
When will they ever learn? When will they ever learn?
Where have all the young men gone? Long time passing.
Where have all the young men gone? Long time ago.
Where have all the young men gone?
Gone to soldiers ev'ry one.
When will they ever learn? When will they ever learn?
Where have all the soldiers gone? Long time passing.
Where have all the soldiers gone? Long time ago.
Where have all the soldiers gone?
Gone to graveyards, ev'ry one.
When will they ever learn? When will they ever learn?
Where have all the graveyards gone? Long time passing.
Where have all the graveyards gone? Long time ago.
Where have all the graveyards gone?
Gone to flowers, ev'ry one.
When will they ever learn? When will they ever learn?

The Nation is reeling! So disappointing...I refuse to give up hope on the wild card, though. They can somehow find a way.
The Varitek injury was a killer, but championship teams need to find a way to overcome injuries to the heart and soul of their teams. As much as I dislike the Pats, they did it when Bruschi went down last year. All these Yankee fans used it as a crutch in June and July...everyone SHUT UP! Name a team that is not hurt with injuries! My Mets have 'em...deal with it and move on! Find a way to win....
Everyone has injuries, so I am not going to use that as a crutch. I believe there are two big reasons for the sudden demise of the Sox. First, Big Papi and Papelbon covered A LOT of the issues that the Red Sox had in the first half. These two were lights out the first 90 games and made up for a lot of the issues this team has. Pitchers only had to go 7 or 8 innings...where would the Sox be if Papelbon hadn't blwon 5 games since the break? The guy could not continue on the pace he had in the first half but it created a false sense of security. Now he is only one of the top 4 or 5 closers in the game as opposed to the next Marioano, as everyone thought he would be on June 30. The second issue, and biggest, is the Front Office. Forget about not making a move at the deadline...they have clearly overestimated Coco Crisp and they have to take a hit for giving up 2 blue chip prospects for Beckett, who has been awful. And now they back it up by giving him $30 million. Sprinkle in the Arroyo trade and, frankly, their mistakes in the 04/05 off-season, and that is why this team is struggling.Three Jack's Record http://www.bettorschat.com/forums/sh...10#post1323910
