Has anybody heard the Boston/Atlanta talks?

I heard a mention on sports talk here in ATL that they were talking Coco and some pitcher for Andruw Jones????

Time will tell. He's 21. Soriano is 30. I'm a baseball purest. I believe in developing young talent.

I'd trade Milledge for Soriano if I can then trade Soriano for Zito/Oswald.

Zito and Oswalt are not going to be traded. As for the Boston Atlanta trade go back a few pages.

Mets need pitching. Do they really need Soriano? Sometimes adding another star can cause more harm than good.

Sorriano is great but it'll be his 4th team in 4+ season.

BTW I hate 9-8 games. lol

The Mets should be doing nothing if it's not to upgrade their pitching. Right now, they can outslug almost every team in either league. It's going to come down to starting pitching for them.

Every team needs Alfonso Soriano. He is the best lead-off hitter in all of the game. Even though the Mets have Reyes they could use him after losing Nady.

Pitching wins games in October. In a short series you face the #1 and #2 starters each twice.

At this stage in the season I would do very little to change the starting lineup. If I'm the GM I'm looking for pitching.
