I will be the first to admit I am very much surprised at what has happened so far especially after Yankees won game 1.
If Detroit holds on and wins this game, I give my hats off to the Kenny Rogers even if they should go on and lose the series, which would be extremely questionable at best.

Guys didn't give enough credit to the Tigers due to their bad finish. It's not how you finish. It's getting into the playoffs. The Tigers have been a relaxed team. They have nothing to lose and are playing that way.Originally posted by savage1

being an avid tiger fan since 1961,(yea im old) im just glad too see them in the playoffs this year. are they the best team? i dont know, but if they beat the stinking yankees that alone will make my season. with verlander, bonderman, zumaya plus 2 pitchers that everyone in baseball is after in the minors, thats a pretty good supply of arms. on the field i think they can do better than some of the players they have, could use more set up players. waiting too see if cameron maybin is the real deal, see him in 2008. hes a 5 tool player, but so was jaun encarcion. lets just hope its tigers in 4, i don't wanna go back to ny. see you at the world series pimp!!!!Last edited by detroitdavid; 10-07-2006, 04:53 AM.The difference between genius and stupidity, is that genius has it's limits.
