  • Play This Right Away Before The Line Goes Higher

I have no idea why I was able to play Detroit at -116. I'm posting this now because by the time I get up tomorrow and post all my Saturday plays, this line will be higher. What is there to like about Seattle. They are on a five game losing streak. Washburn did have a quality start his last game for Seattle but before that his last quality start was a month ago. Miner has been a nice surprise for Detroit, going 3-0 with a 2.18 ERA on the road. I can't figure out why this line is so low. By far this will be my favorite play Saturday, but I'm staying at 5 units, like usual.

    DETROIT -116

If this line goes up like I think it will, don't lay anything over -120. Lay the 1 run which should be a plus line. I hope I'm not missing something, but I can't believe this line and of course Detroit will win easy.

I'm going to post all my Saturday plays in their own thread tomorrow, so you don't have to keep checking this thread to see if I posted yet. I'm late alot because of the three hour time difference.

I can't understand why this line never went higher. At sportsbook.com 83% of the money bet is on Detroit. At Caribsports out of 6,501 bets, 82% are on Detroit and the line dosen't move. Anyone know something I don't.

Somebody knew something and it wasen't me. That game could have gone either way, especially when Detroit brings in their so called closer----Todd Jones and his 5.82 ERA. Every pitch down the middle for three well hit long outs but, any one could have gone out. How can a team as good as Detroit pick their worst relief pitcher to be their closer. But we won our play and that is the main thing. The line looks the same for Sunday and I'm playing it again, but it may stay where it is.

Thanks for the tip, I had some big money on Detroit. The line sure did look suspicious and I got a little concerned. I thought it was going to jump up overnight, it never moved.

The books must have lost a fortune on this game. I can't imagine who was betting on Seattle. As for Todd Jones doesn't he always close for them?

Jones is their closer. Hard to believe but this was his 23rd save but he does have 4 or 5 blown saves too. Most of his saves were because Detroit was giving him a 2 or 3 run lead most of the time, instead of just a one run lead.
