Jones is their closer. Hard to believe but this was his 23rd save but he does have 4 or 5 blown saves too. Most of his saves were because Detroit was giving him a 2 or 3 run lead most of the time, instead of just a one run lead.

I had Detroit and watched that ninth inning;Tigers were lucky to win. The Tigers are living on borrowed time with Jones.
The Red Sox dumped him a while back after seeing the light(wish they would see it with Seanez, Tavarez and Jason Johnson).
