Uconn is this land of basketball domination. Both men and women, yes we did not win it, but we had the best talent by far. I am just happy to see all the huskies dominate the draft. It sucks all these guys leave early, but Uconn must be doing somethign right that they have 5 guys getting drafted....

Try getting your ENTIRE STARTING 5 Drafted then come back with a roster full of Freshman and go as deep in the tourney and play as good as UNC did this past season and then we can talk

You may had the best talent, but not the best team. Gay is way overrated,he is too soft to be a bigtime player in the NBA. Conn is not the land of basketball.

ok, guys, i am not defending that we had the best team, but if u look at our history of uconn players getting drafted it is ridiculous, u guys seem like u want to pick a fight, but yes alot of the players are soft and no heart, but thye r in the nba AND jIMMY C is doing something right getting these studs to come to stoooooooooooors baby!!

There's no question they have great talent, but who besides Rip Hamilton has had a decent nba career? Not trying to be a dick, just can't think of anyone else off the top of my head.

Tar Heels Lead the Way in NBA Players Again

Carolina has 12 former players on 2003-04 NBA opening-day rosters.

                      Nov. 6, 2003

CHAPEL HILL -- The University of North Carolina produced more players on 2003-04 National Basketball Association opening-day rosters than any other school in the nation, the NBA announced on Wednesday. The Tar Heels have 12 players on NBA rosters this season and were followed in the rankings by Kentucky (11), Arizona (10), UCLA (9) and Duke (9).

Carolina had 14 players in the NBA last year and have led all colleges and universities in NBA players produced for several years running.

Five players on 2003-04 opening-day rosters went to Division II schools. There was one player from Division III, one from NAIA, three from community/junior colleges and 20 entered the NBA from high school.

There were 44 players from around the world who did not attend a school in the United States.

Carolina's players in the NBA in 2003-04 are Vince Carter (Toronto Raptors), Hubert Davis (Detroit Pistons), Rick Fox (Los Angeles Lakers), Brendan Haywood (Washington), Antawn Jamison (Dallas Mavericks), George Lynch (New Orleans Hornets), Jeff McInnis (Portland Trailblazers), Eric Montross (Toronto Raptors-injured list), Jerry Stackhouse (Washington Wizards), Rasheed Wallace (Portland Trailblazers), Scott Williams (Phoenix Suns), and Shammond Williams (Orlando Magic).

UNC has had 35 players chosen in the first round of the NBA Draft all-time. The Tar Heels' 24 first-round picks since 1980 lead the nation

                        Still wanna argue with that??

Little TMAC, i kinda started this thread for Uconn purposes and for people to exchange dialogue about the huskies good or bad, but u must feel the need to bring up the tar heels, which no one really cares about. Your trying to compare and start shit with me about ur tar heels and i dont care. if you want to discuss your tar heels in which no one cares about then start your own thread about carolina.

UCON is a joke! I can't think of any NBA Hall of Famers that came from this school. They get drafted and flop in the NBA. And to say that UCONN is dominant, then where's all the trophies?
