they had a great nite, no doubt. its just too bad a team that talented couldnt beat George Mason, a team who finished 2nd in the colonial. it looks like they were looking at draft nite back in march.

i cant believe williams went that low. i think boston should have traded for him instead of rondo. williams is a better overall offensive player, and rondo cant shoot at all.

u mean u cant believe Williams went that high, meaning the 23rd pick? The team Calhoun had was flithy, best talent in the country by far, but the best talent does'nt always win rings...they underachieved and did not play well together pretty much all season..

its sad to see all those UNDERACHIEVERING husky players drafted that high. I, personally, would never draft somebody with that much talent but no heart. They couldn't even beat George Mason. Come on now.

I guess when you have the most talent in the country and you lose it is OK, but when a team is "handed to them" and they win it is expected. I hope the UConn players drafted yesterday excel at the next level, but it is highly unlikely. One thing is for sure they all will soon be millionaires.

Does this mean Calhoun pulled one of the biggest choke jobs by a coach ever??
