buckner hates boston. after he let that ball go thru his legs the sox fans never let him forget it. they sent him and his wife death threats, sox fans all over the country were on him. Guy had to get a ranch in montana to live in peace. i honestly dont blame him for now not wanting to go back. he doesnt owe the city of boston or the red sox organization a damn thing.

you and me are prolly alot alike when it comes to fan interest of the red sox. I love the team, i use to go to multiple games when tix were available long before the days of instant sell outs, retarded tix prices etc. my point being, i never in my life would ever think of sending a death threat to someone. i mean i say mean shit sometimes, and thats heat of the moment, but its just a Fuckin game. We all make mistakes, i dont get how some people would want him dead?? i mean its okay to be pissed off, but wanting someone Dead and then actually threatening his/her life is totally outta control would you agree?

me neither, thats what i dont get. I mean i'm sure there are many many like us who are die hard fans, that root and yell and scream and follow the team closely. But that doesnt give us the right to threaten to kill a player, just like they the player has no right to threaten us the fans. I just think some people are just retarded and give a majority of the fans a bad rap
