The is NO University or college football program that even comes CLOSE!
I know what comes next. You guys all live in the past. What have you done lately. What about Lou Holtz. What about the booster rumors. What about this blah blah blah... What about that blah blah blah...
The FACT still remains, it is STILL THE UNIVERSITY OF NOTRE DAME. Those who don't understand it, can't stand it. Bottom line!
I agree there is no need to say anything to "tarnish the dome", they have done more than enough on teh field the past decade for that.O..H.........I..O!

You sound like a Kentucky basketball fan: constantly spouting off stats and achievement from decades, even centuries ago and then exaggerating as well. People should be proud of their team's and/or school's history, but they also have to admit the rough stretches as well.
Also, if I'm not mistaken, ND players have won 7 Heisman trophies.
I think he was counting the 4 Heisman's that Ron Pawlis was supposed to win so said Beano Cook.
Sorry Coo Coo...couldn't let that one slide. LOL

I'm a huge ND fan...but I still laugh at that every time I see Beano.
I think we'll be alright this year...we have the chance to be great....and a definate National Title contender.
Man I can't wait to get the season started.
Georgia Tech....here we come!!!
