But to answer your question.......it's just something that for 30 years now has been my life beyond reality. No matter how bad they were, sitting down and listening to Harry Carey butcher players names, was a religion to me.

It's just not something that I personally can just shut off. No matter how strong the evidence or the persuation is to do so.

But you See John you are having a discussion with someone that would go to a minimum of 40 games a year ... took me 2 hours to get there and an hour to park .. but I did it ... for years.. me and my brother-in-law, God rest his soul ... and no one was bigger fans than us ..

I live 6 states away for a lot of reasons, but it's TORTURE not being able to be in Chicago at times.

I read the suntimes, the tribune online, the daily herald, and watch WGN, and Comcast Chicago, so I feel like I"m in tune just as much as someone living there.

No, I'm not enjoying the season. It's been trying with all the injuries. We started so well and then Lee got hurt, and we couldn't do shit. It hurts. I take losses hard sometimes, because I know that I'm gonna hear it from Wayne and Jimmy, and others....but I will face the music every day...win or loss, or loss, or loss or loss.
