Joe, Loving baseball and choosing to go PAY and see a fundamentally sound team (CWS) play isn't a negative. I would do the exact same thing if i lived where you do!

Rip me if you want again...but Lee going out was devistating.
John, READ POST 49. Worse than this is the Royals or Pirates. Which one do you want to be?

So you'd go watch the Yankees play if you were in New York?

        Honestly?

If I was mistaken on that, my apologies.

No, I'm not enjoying the season. It's been trying with all the injuries. We started so well and then Lee got hurt, and we couldn't do shit. It hurts. I take losses hard sometimes, because I know that I'm gonna hear it from Wayne and Jimmy, and others....but I will face the music every day...win or loss, or loss, or loss or loss.
Me going to Sox park does not make me a Sox fan .. it makes me a baseball fan and I love watching live ball ... I am just enjoying the season and watching baseball ... Like right now .. The Cubs are on and I am sitting outside on my patio ... last year i would not be sitting out here unless I had a TV or radio with me ... this year I can care less if I ever watch them again ...

              DAMN IT JOHN!

YOU CAN'T BE HEALTHY AND A CUB FAN. There is a history of high blood pressure and ulcers there. Again, Royals or Pirates?

If i were in N.Y. and grew up there, i would be a Yankee fan. If i moved there, i would go when the sox were in N.Y. or Philly and probably drive to Boston too!

Also John, if i could get tickets at face value like you can in NY, i would go watch all kinds of different teams when they came in to town!

Exactly what i just said and i did not see your post till just now ... it is very frustrating being a Cubs fan and a baseball fan buddy ... I know you understand where I am coming from ... I think John likes the Cubs more than he does the game ... and I guess there is nothing wrong with that if he can handle it ... too frustrating for me

I guess the difference to me is that the Cubs are baseball to me, as well as the sox, yankees, royals, pirates, etc....

They are all baseball to me...good bad indifferent.

Yes, I can handle it. Have since I was born, and it's not gonna change.

Wayne...I guess I meant that if you had to move to NY, or chose to for whatever reason, knowing full well that your a part of red sox nation, would you go to Yankees games just for the pure baseball fun of it.

                            Didn't see it.

And you wouldn't feel any different about it? Like you were being disloyal to the Red Sox?

Hell no. I seriously did the same thing Joe is doing when Dan Duquette tore down the Red Sox.

I love baseball and if it were someone trying to win it would be one thing but there is no fucken way anyone can convince me that this team is DEDICATED to winning ... and DEDICATION is a Two Way street!

Understood, and well put for the most part in my opinion.

As much as it gets my blood pressure boiling, love these discussions.
