CHARLOTTE HORNETS AT ATLANTA HAWKS
STRUGGLING OFFENSES
The Hawks hope to snap their three-game losing streak as they host the Hornets who have struggled all season long, averaging a league low 100.4 points per game on the road.
Similarily, the Hawks have struggled on offense recently, shooting just 32 and 33 percent from the floor in two of their last three contests. Expect the offensive woes to continue on both sides tonight, and bet Under the game total of 223.5.
MILWAUKEE BUCKS AT DENVER NUGGETS
MISSING THE MVP
The Nuggets are 5.5-point favorites as they host the Milwaukee Bucks who will be without Giannis Antetokounmpo for tonight's matchup and are on the tail end of a back-to-back. The Nuggets have rotated losses over their last five games, but are happy to return home where they are 24-8 on the season.
With the Bucks losing three of their last four contests, and now being without the MVP front-runner, look for Milwaukee's struggles to continue. Last time Giannis sat out, the Bucks lost 140-131 to the Suns. Take Denver on the 5.5-point spread.
JAMMING WITH JAMAL
Although these teams have't met up this season, in six career games against the Bucks Jamal Murray has averaged 18.7 ppg on 49 percent shooting from the floor and 41 percent from beyond the arc. He's averaging right around that number on the season, and should be a great play to go Over based on volume of attempts alone. Bet Over his points total of 18.5.
TORONTO RAPTORS AT UTAH JAZZ
STARTING QUICK AT HOME
Toronto are coming off a 5-point victory last night in a hard fought battle versus the Kings. Tonight, they travel to Utah as 4.5-point road underdogs to take on a Jazz team that has won five straight contests.
The Jazz have gotten out to quick starts in the first quarter at home, averaging 29.2 points per game, and that number has gone up to 31 over their last three contests. Look for them to build up a quick lead early versus a Raptors team averaging only 27.1 first-quarter ppg away from home. Take the Jazz on the first quarter moneyline.
ACTIVE ON THE BOARDS
In the first meeting between the Raptors and Jazz this season, Rudy Gobert went 4-of-7 from the floor for 12 points and 11 rebounds through 28 minutes.
With the Raptors playing on a back-to-back going up against a Jazz defense that ranks eighth in effective field goal percentage, expect Gobert to be very active on the glass. Bet Over his rebounding total of 12.5.
