Not sure if anyone else remembers but back in the days of Maddux the pine was not that big.I don't ever remember seeing Atlanta -250 or higher.Seemed to me that the linwas not as Sharp then. Most locals back then gave 10 dime lines up to -250.Now if u look at Halladay or Felix or Lincecum they usually have -250 or higher every start.

Maddux LOVED pitching so much that he would actually get a boner on the mound. One of the best stories i ever heard. Maddux was one of the best!

I have heard stories about Maddux having this book that any guy he ever faced he knew what the guy liked where he liked it.Not sure how true this is but I have heard people say that at times Maddux would groove a guy a pitch if no one was on and Atlanta was way ahead so next time he faced the guy the bases might be loaded and he could set him up.Like I said its a rumor doubt its true though.

As much as he loved pitching I can't believe he walked away from the game when he did.He could be a pitching coach on any team in baseball.Help his brother has a job as a pitching coach just by being his brother

Probably sick of being on a plane every 3 days and standing in a dugout. Hell, if i had his money, i would hang out at my awesome home with family, with no worries, and none of that crap to do!
